Մի քանի ամիս առաջ բժիշկ-ուսանողը ապշել էր, երբ նրա պրոֆեսորը ցույց էր տվել ինչ-որ մեկի արյան անալիզի արդյունքները։ Հատկապես զարմանալու էր այն, որ խոլեստերինի, գլյուկոզայի, լիպիդի մակարդակը չափազանց բարձր էր։

Ուսանողի համար դժվար էր հավատալը, որ մարդը այդպիսի տվյալներով դեռ ողջ և առողջ ապրում է։

Ավելի հետաքրքիր էր այս պատմության մեջ այն փաստը, որ պրոֆեսորը հենց այն մարդն էր, ով հանձնել էր անալիզները։

Հետո պրոֆեսորը տղային տվեց ևս մեկ թուղթ։ «Ուղղակի նայեք այս թղթին և համեմատեք ցուցանիշները, իսկ հետո նայեք ամսաթվերին»․ —ասաց նա ուսանողին։

Երկրորդ թուղթը ցույց էր տալիս դրական ցուցանիշներ, և արյունը իդեալական վիճակում էր։ Պարզվեց, որ պրոֆեսորը առողջ վիճակում է, քանի որ բոլոր տվյալները առողջ մարդու տվյալներ էին։

Երբ ուսանողը համեմատեց այդ անալիզների ամսաթվերը պարզապես ապշեց, քանի, որ այնտեղ ընդամենը մեկ ամիս էր տարբերությունը։

Ուսանողը պարզապես չէր կարողանում հասկանալ, թե ինչպես կարող է այդպիսի բան լինել։ Հետո պրոֆեսորը բացատրեց, որ գաղտնիքը կայանում է բուժման մեջ, որը նրան խորհուրդ է տվել փորձել իր բժիշկը։ Նա մի քանի անգամ կատարել է բուժման այդ տարբերակը և կարողացել է լիովին բուժվել։

Նա նաև ասաց, որ այդ բուժումը հարկավոր է կատարել մեկ անգամ տարվա մեջ, որպեսզի վերահսկեք իրավիճակը։ Քանի, որ եթե ցուցանիշները վատը լինեն, ուրեմն պետք է կրկնել այս բուժման տարբերակը։
