ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը սեպտեմբերի 7-ին ընդունել է հայաստանյան մի շարք կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչների, ովքեր նախաձեռնել են «Վերջ երեխաների դեմ բռնությանը» հնգամյա հանրային քարոզարշավը, որը համաշխարհային նույնանուն արշավի հայաստանյան նախաձեռնությունն է: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ըստ նախաձեռնող խմբի անդամների՝  ՄԱԿ-ի 2030 կայուն զարգացման նպատակներն ընդգծում են երեխաների նկատմամբ բռնության բոլոր ձեւերի վերացման անհրաժեշտությունը եւ խրախուսում անդամ պետություններին իրականացնել գործուն քաղաքականություն: Հայաստանյան արշավի նպատակն է նվազեցնել մեր երկրում երեխաների նկատմամբ կիրառվող ֆիզիկական եւ հոգեբանական բռնությունը:

ՀՕՖ-ի երեխաների աջակցության կենտրոնի տնօրեն Միրա Անտոնյանը, ՍՕՍ մանկական գյուղերի տնօրեն Աշոտ Քոչարյանը, «Վորլդ Վիժն Հայաստան»-ի ներկայացուցիչ Գայանե Վարդանյանը եւ «Սեյվ դը չիլդրեն»-ի ներկայացուցիչ Գրիգորի Գրիգորյանցը ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահին են ներկայացրել հնգամյա քարոզարշավի կազմակերպման նպատակը, խնդիրները եւ հրավիրել նրան մասնակցելու հանրային արշավի՝ սեպտեմբերի 26-ին կայանալիք պաշտոնական մեկնարկին:

Արա Բաբլոյանն ընդգծել է նախաձեռնության կարեւորությունը եւ նշել, որ մոտեցումները պիտի լինեն կշռադատված՝ երեխաներին չվնասելու համար: ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի խոսքով՝ պետք է միավորել ջանքերը՝ երեխաներին աջակցելու եւ նրանց իրավունքները պաշտպանելու գործում: Արա Բաբլոյանը նշել է, որ պետք է նախապատրաստել հասարակությանը, կրթության միջոցով հասնել հանրության առջեւ ծառացած խնդիրների լուծմանը: ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը հանրային արշավը նախաձեռնող խմբի անդամներին հորդորել է ներկայացնել առաջարկներ, որոնցով հնարավոր կլինի կարգավորել ոլորտին առնչվող օրենսդրական դաշտը, քաղաքացիական հասարակությանը մտահոգող հարցերին տալ լիարժեք լուծումներ:
