«ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազությունում ներքին հակամարտությունները, պարզվում է, դեռևս շարունակվում են։ «Ժողովուրդ»–ի տեղեկություններով՝ ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության ավագ դատախազ Կարեն Բատիկյանի երեկվա պաշտոնանկությունը հենց վերը նշված հակասությունների դրսևորումներից է։ ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Գևորգ Կոստանյանի պաշտոնավարման հենց սկզբից՝2013-ի հոկտեմբերից, ակնհայտ էր, որ նա ցանկանում է ազատվել այսպես կոչված, «հին կադրերից»։ Այդ գործընթացը Գևորգ Կոստանյանի համար առանցքային նշանակություն ուներ, քանի որ միայն այդ կերպ նա կկարողանար դատախազության համակարգն իր վերահսկողության տակ վերցնել։ Արդյունքում, դատախազության համակարգում աննախադեպ կադրային ջարդ տեղի ունեցավ, և մոտ երեք ամսում շուրջ 100 դատախազներ դիմում գրեցին և ազատվեցին։ Նրանց մեծ մասը հետագայում գործի անցան ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեում։ Թվում էր՝ դատախազության «ներքին մաքրումները» ավարտվել են։ Սակայն, ինչպես պարզվում է, իրական վիճակն այդքան էլ այդպես չէ։ Փաստորեն, Գևորգ Կոստանյանը մի կողմից իրավապահ մյուս կառույցների՝ քննչական կոմիտեի, հատուկ քննչական ծառայության հետ է «հակամարտում»՝ դատաիրավական ոլորտի «ասողի» դիրքը գրավելու համար, մյուս կողմից էլ շարունակում Է «հների» դեմ կռիվ տալ»,–գրում է թերթը։
