ԱՄՆ-ն հրաժարվել է ամերիկյան արտադրության զենք վաճառել Էրդողանի թիկնապահներին

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ադմինիստրացիան հետ է կանչել Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի թիկնապահներին ամերիկյան զենքով ապահովելու առաջարկը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է US News-ը:
Ավելի վաղ ադմինիստրացիայից ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսին հայտնել էին, որ ծրագրում են Նյու Հեմփշիրի զենք արտադրող Sig Sauer ընկերությունը թույլատրել զենքի վաճառքը Էրդողանի թիկնազորի անդամներին: Գործարքը կազմելու էր 1,2 ԱՄՆ դոլար:
Սակայն կոնգրեսականներն իրենց բողոքն էին սկսել հայտնել այն բանից հետո, ինչ 2017 թվականի մայիսի 16-ին Էրդողանի թիկնազորի անդամները Վաշինգտոնում Թուրքիայի դեսպանի կեցավայրի դիմաց հարձակվել էին խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա: Սա Թուրքիայի ղեկավարների թիկնազորի մասնակցությամբ ԱՄՆ-ում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպերից վերջինն էր:
Հունիսին ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի Արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդ Ռոյսը դիմել էր պետքարտուղար Ռեքս Թիլերսոնին՝ հորդորելով հրաժարվել զենքի վաճառքի մտադրությունից՝ թուրք թիկնապահներին անվանելով «ոչ պրոֆեսիոնալ և կոպիտ»:
Ի վերջո` որոշում է կայացվել հետ կանչել զենքի վաճառքի առաջարկը:
Միացյալ Նահանգներ այցելող Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի դեմ մայրաքաղաք Վաշինգտոնում մայիսի 16-ին կազմակերպված խաղաղ ցույցի մասնակիցները մի խումբ թուրք ազգայնամոլների կատաղի հարձակման թիրախ են դարձել: Մի քանի վիրավորներ արնաշաղախ հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխվել: Հայտնի է դարձել, որ հարձակումն իրականացրածների շարքում են եղել նաև Էրդողանի անվտանգության աշխատակիցները: Ավելի ուշ հայտնված տեսանյութում երևում է, թե ինչպես է հենց Էրդողանը տալիս ցուցարարների վրա հարձակվելու հրահանգը:
Վաշինգտոնի քաղաքապետ Մուրիել Բոուսերը և ոստիկանապետ Փիթեր Նյուշեմը հունիսի 15-ին կայացած համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ հայտարարել են, որ մայիսի 16-ին խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա հարձակում իրականացրած՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի կողմնակից խմբի 12 անդամի ձերբակալության հրաման է տրվել:
Հարձակմանը մասնակից ԱՄՆ երկու թուրք քաղաքացի արդեն ձերբակալված են: Նրանց դեմ գործով առաջին դատական լսումները տեղի կունենան սեպտեմբերի 7-ին:
ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը հունիսի 6-ին միաձայն ընդունել է թիվ 354 երկկուսակցական բանաձևը, որը դատապարտում է մայիսի 16-ին ԱՄՆ-ում Թուրքիայի դեսպանի նստավայրի դիմաց Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի թիկնապահների կողմից խաղաղ ցուցարարների դեմ բռնությունը և կոչ է անում օրինազանցներին ենթարկել քրեական պատասխանատվության և քայլեր ձեռնարկել նմանատիպ միջադեպերը բացառելու համար: Բանաձևին կողմ է քվեարկել 397 ներկայացուցիչ:
