Էրդողանին զայրացրել է իր թիկնապահներին զենք չվաճառելու մասին ԱՄՆ իշխանությունների որոշումը

Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանին զայրացրել է Միացյալ Նահանգների իշխանությունների կողմից իր թիկնապահներին 1.2 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար արժողությամբ զենքի վաճառքից հրաժարվելու փաստը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է թուրքական «Միլլիեթ»-ը:
Ի պատասխան ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ադմինիստրացիայի՝ զենքի վաճառքից հրաժարվելու որոշման՝ Էրդողանը հիշեցրել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները զենք է տալիս Սիրիայի քրդական «Ժողովրդի պաշտպանության ուժերին»:
«Մինչ մենք չենք կարողանում մեր գումարով ձեզնից զենք գնել, դուք ինչո՞ւ եք անվճար զենք տալիս այդ ահաբեկչական խմբավորումներին: Մենք չենք կարողացել գտնել այդ հարցի պատասխանը, ուստի որպես ռազմավարական գործընկեր այդ պատճառով մեծ ցավ ենք ապրում»,- ասել է Էրդողանը:
ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ադմինիստրացիան ետ է կանչել Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի թիկնապահներին ամերիկյան զենքով ապահովելու առաջարկը: Ավելի վաղ ադմինիստրացիայից ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսին հայտնել էին, որ ծրագրում են Նյու Հեմփշիրի զենք արտադրող Sig Sauer ընկերությունը թույլատրել զենքի վաճառքը Էրդողանի թիկնազորի անդամներին: Գործարքը կազմելու էր 1,2 ԱՄՆ դոլար:
Սակայն կոնգրեսականներն իրենց բողոքն էին հայտնել այն բանից հետո, ինչ 2017 թվականի մայիսի 16-ին Էրդողանի թիկնազորի անդամները Վաշինգտոնում Թուրքիայի դեսպանի կեցավայրի դիմաց հարձակվել էին խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա: Սա Թուրքիայի ղեկավարների թիկնազորի մասնակցությամբ ԱՄՆ-ում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպերից վերջինն էր:
Հունիսին ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի Արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդ Ռոյսը դիմել էր պետքարտուղար Ռեքս Թիլերսոնին՝ հորդորելով հրաժարվել զենքի վաճառքի մտադրությունից՝ թուրք թիկնապահներին անվանելով «ոչ պրոֆեսիոնալ և կոպիտ»: Ի վերջո` որոշում է կայացվել ետ կանչել զենքի վաճառքի առաջարկը:
