Բակո Սահակյանը ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների հետ քննարկել է Արցախի ներքին և արտաքին քաղաքականությանն առնչվող հարցեր

Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը Հայաստանում ԱՀ մշտական ներկայացուցչությունում հանդիպում ունեցավ ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների հետ: Նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը տեղեկացրեց, որ հանդիպման շրջանակում քննարկվել են տարածաշրջանում տիրող իրավիճակի, Արցախի զարգացմանը, ներքին և արտաքին քաղաքականությանը, արցախա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտությանն առնչվող մի շարք հարցեր:
«Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահն աշխատանքային այցով Հայաստանում է թե Հայաստան-Սփյուռք համաժողովի, թե երկրի անկախության 26-րդ տարեդարձի շրջանակում: Սա շատ կարևոր հանդիպում էր մի քանի տեսանկյուններից. նախևառաջ, մենք հանդիպում ենք ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսը ներկայացնող մարդկանց հետ, ովքեր մեծ աշխատանք են կատարում հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների, Արցախի մասին ճշմարտացի տեղեկություններ տարածելու հարցում, ունեն մարդու իրավունքների նկատմամբ հավատարմություն»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց նա:
Ամերիկայում Հայաստան համահայկական հիմնադրամի ատենապետ Մարիա Միհրանյանը համակարծիք էր, որ հանդիպումն իսկապես կարևոր էր օրակարգային մի շարք հարցերի քննարկման տեսանկյունից:
«Քննարկումներն ընթացան հիմնականում այն հարցերով, թե ինչպես պետք է այդ Արցախում կայունություն պահպանել և օգնել խաղաղության հաստատմանը, այն, որ արցախյան հարցը ոչ թե ռազմական, այլ քաղաքական ճանապարհով պետք է լուծվի: Համաշխարհային ամբիոնները պետք է պատասխանատու պահեն ագրեսորին, որպեսզի նա չկարողանա անվերջ փորձեր անել, իսկ փորձեր անելու դեպքում էլ պատասխան տա, թե ինչու դա արեց: Պետք է աշխատենք հարցը լուծել խաղաղությամբ. սա բանակցությունների և համաշխարհային ամբիոնների, այլ ոչ թե ռազմական գործողությունների հարց է»,- նշեց Մարիա Միհրանյանը:
Նա հավելեց, որ կոնգրեսականներից Դեյվիդ Վալադաոն, ով արդեն իսկ եղել է Արցախում, տպավորված է այնտեղ կատարած այցով:
«Նա նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ Արցախում ժողովուրդը պայքարում է նորմալ կյանք ունենալու համար: Նրա համար շատ զարմանալի էր այն, թե ինչպես է Արցախում կյանքը շարունակվում վտանգի մեջ: Նախագահ Սահակյանն էլ պատասխանեց՝ որովհետև ժողովուրդը շատ ուժեղ կամք ունի»,- ասաց նա:
Հայկական արմատներ ունեցող կոնգրեսական Ջեքի Սփիր Կանչելյանի նախաձեռնությամբ սեպտեմբերի 17-ին Հայաստան է ժամանել Միացյալ Նահանգների կոնգրեսականների ներկայացուցչական պատվիրակությունը:
