Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին «Ժխտման ճարտարապետները» ֆիլմը ցուցադրվել է Վաշինգտոնում

Միացյալ Նահանգների մայրաքաղաք Վաշինգտոնում տեղի է ունեցել ամերիկյան հեռուստաաստղեր Մոնթել Ուիլյամսի և Դին Քեյնի նախաձեռնությամբ նկարահանված «Ժխտման ճարտարապետները» փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմի պրեմիերան:
Ֆիլմը պատմում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության, Թուրքիայի կողմից պատմական փաստերի ժխտման, 1988-ին Ադրբեջանում հայերի դեմ իրականացված կոտորածների, 2016 թվականի ապրիլին Ադրբեջանի կողմից հայկական գյուղերի վրա իրականացրած հարձակումների, ինչպես նաև ցեղասպանության փաստի նկատմամբ Միացյալ Նահանգների ժխտողական դիրքորոշման մասին:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Ուիլյամսը և Քեյնը, ովքեր տարբեր հարցերի շուրջ ունեն տարբեր տեսակետներ, բացատրել են, թե ինչն է իրենց ստիպել այս նախաձեռնությունում հանդես գալ միասին՝ փորձելով ուշադրություն հրավիրել Հայոց ցեղասպանության խնդրի, միջազգային ճանաչման ու արդարության վրա: «Մոռացված կամ չճանաչված ցեղասպանությունը շարունակվող ցեղասպանություն է, նոր ցեղասպանության սերմն է»,- բացատրել է Ուիլյամսը:
Քեյնը, ով 2017 թվականին այցելել էր Հայաստան, ապա նաև հրեաների համակենտրոնացման ճամբար Աուշվիցում՝ Լեհաստանում, ընդգծել է, որ Հոլոքոստն ու Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը մարդու իրավունքների հետ կապված հարցեր են, որոնք երբեք չպետք է քաղաքականացվեն:
Ուիլյամսը և Քեյնը ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսում երկօրյա հանդիպումներ կունենան, որոնց կազմակերպիչը Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբն է:
«Ժխտման ճարտարապետները» փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմը կինոթատրոններում կհայտնվի հոկտեմբերի 6-ից:
Ֆիլմում խոսում են հայտնի դեմքեր, ինչպես WikiLeaks-ի հիմնադիր Ջուլիան Ասանժը, ԱՄՆ նախկին դեսպան Ջոն Էվանսը, ամերիկացի հայտնի իրավապաշտպան, Genocide Watch կազմակերպության հիմնադիր Գրեգորի Ստանտոնը, ԱՄՆ Կենտրոնական հետախուզական վարչության աշխատակից, լրագրող Սիբել Էդմոնդսը, ինչպես նաև ցեղասպանության վերապրածներ:
«Կան շատ փաստեր, որոնք ապացուցում են, որ կատարվածը ցեղասպանություն էր: Հզոր տերությունները, ինչպիսինն է Միացյալ Նահանգները, չեն ճանաչում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Թուրքիան ողջ աշխարհով ագրեսիվ լոբբիստական գործունեություն է իրականացնում` համոզվելու, որ չկան հիշատակումներ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին»,- ֆիլմում պատմում է Ջուլիան Ասանժը:
