Սեպտեմբերի 23-ին Նյու Յորքում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների միջև տեղի ունեցած հանդիպման ժամանակ խոսվել է երկու երկրների նախագահների մակարդակով առաջիկայում հանդիպում անցկացնելու մասին: 

Լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:

Նա նշեց, որ հանդիպման ժամանակ խոսվել է նաև հոկտեմբերին ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի եռանախագահների սպասվող տարածաշրջանային այցի մասին: Նալբանդյանը նշեց, որ եռանախագահներին Հայաստանը սպասում է հոկտեմբերի առաջին կեսին, գալու են, որպեսզի պատրաստեն նախագահների հանդիպումը:

Դիտարկմանը, թե Ադրբեջանի ԱԳ նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակը հայտարարել է, որ Էլմար Մամեդյարովը համաձայնել է ՄԽ հնչեցրած առաջարկներին, ինչի՞ մասին է խոսքը, Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն այսպես արձագանքեց. «Միայն Ադրբեջանում կարող են ասել, թե ինչ առաջարկներ են գրգռել իրենց հետաքրքրությունը»:

Ինչ վերաբերում է «Հայաստան-Սփյուռք» համաժողովի ժամանակ Էդվարդ Նալբանյանի կողմից հնչեցրած այն հայտարարությանը, որ Ադրբեջանին հողեր զիջելու համատեքստում խոսքն այն հողերի մասին է գնում, որոնք անվտանգությանը վնաս չեն հասցնում, ապա Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ասաց, որ որոշ մեջբերումներ, ինչպես այս մեջբերումը, կտրված է կոնտեքստից:

«Դուք ասում եք՝ փոքր մի մաս, մնացածի մասին չեք խոսում: Ես չեմ խոսել կոնկրետ տարածքների կամ միայն այս հարցի մասին: Ես խոսել եմ եռանախագահների կողմից արված 5 հայտարարություններում պարունակող 3 սկզբունքների և 6 տարրերի մասին, որոնք, եռանախագահների բնորոշմամբ, մեկ ամբողջություն են և տարանջատել դրանք մեկը մյուսից՝ անհնար կդարձնի կարգավորումը: Սա է փորձում անել Ադրբեջանը՝ տարանջատել այդ սկզբունքները մեկը մյուսից»,- մանրամասնեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:

ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարն ասաց, որ ինչպես ՀՀ նախագահն էր ասել, կարևորը Արցախի կարգավիճակի, անվտանգության ապահովման հարցերն են, իսկ մնացածը՝ ածանցյալ են:

«Չգիտեմ ինչու՝ որոշ մարդկանց պետք է տարանջատել, սենսացիաներ գտնել. մենք դրա կարիքը չունենք, վարում ենք այն քաղաքականությունը, որը վարել ենք մինչև հիմա: Մենք ասում ենք, որ մեր մոտեցումները համահունչ ենք եռանախագահների դիրքորոշմանը, մենք դրանք ընդունել ենք որպես բանակցությունների հիմք: Իսկ Ադրբեջանը դրանցից հրաժարվում է, չի ցանկանում հղում անել: Ռիգայում ԱլԳ գագաթնաժողովի ժամանակ Ադրբեջանը փախուստ արեց, նրա համար, որ ԵՄ երկրները, ԱլԳ անդամ-պետությունները կողմ էին նրան, որ հղում պետք էր կատարել եռանախագահների կողմից արված 5 հայտարարություններին, որոնք ուղված են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը»,- շեշտեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:
