Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Եգիպտոսի Արաբական Հանրապետության ներդրումների և միջազգային համագործակցության նախարար Սահար Նասրին, ով Հայաստանում է գտնվում Տնտեսական, գիտական և տեխնիկական համագործակցության հարցերով հայ-եգիպտական միջկառավարական համատեղ հանձնաժողովի 5-րդ նիստին մասնակցելու նպատակով:

Ինչպես տեղեկացնում են ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին մեր երկրում և նշելով, որ հայ և եգիպտացի ժողովուրդների միջև պատմամշակութային առնչությունները սկիզբ են առնում հնագույն ժամանակներից՝ Հանրապետության Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ այդ հարաբերություններին մշտապես բնորոշ են եղել անկեղծ բարեկամությունն ու փոխադարձ վստահությունը, որոնց վրա դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումից հետո կառուցվել են սերտ միջպետական հարաբերություններ:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը ջերմությամբ է հիշել Եգիպտոսի նախագահ Աբդել Ֆաթթահ Ալ-Սիսիի հետ ունեցած վերջին հանդիպումը և նախարար Սահար Նասրին խնդրել իր ողջույնները փոխանցել նախագահին:

Նախարար Սահար Նասրը նշել է, որ Եգիպտոսը շահագրգռված է բարեկամ Հայաստանի հետ խորացնելու առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունները և ներդրումային ոլորտում համագործակցությունը՝ կարևորելով նաև երկու երկրների մասնավոր հատվածի ներկայացուցիչների ներգրավումն այդ գործընթացում:

Նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի շրջանակներում պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել մշակել աշխատանքային ծրագիր, որի համաձայն կկենսագործվեն ձեռքբերված պայմանավորվածությունները: Սահար Նասրը նշել է, որ Եգիպտոս վերադառնալուն պես համապատասխան զեկույց կպատրաստի, որը կներկայացնի երկրի նախագահին և կառավարությանը:
