Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը կարծում է, որ Հայաստանում չկա քաղաքական գործիչ, ով կարող է երկրի ազգային անվտանգությանը և այլ քաղաքական մարտահրավերների դիմակայումն ավելի լավ կազմակերպել, քան ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում, անդրադառնալով 2018թ. հետո ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի քաղաքական ապագայի վերաբերյալ հարցին, ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահն ընդգծեց, որ դժվարանում է տեսնել ավելի իմաստուն, փորձառու և պատրաստված, ավելի հավասարակշռված քաղաքական գործիչ, քան մեր երկրի Նախագահն է: «Սա ասում եմ ոչ թե որպես նրա թիմի զինվոր, նրա թիմի ներկայացուցիչ, նրա քաղաքականության ջատագով, այլ մարդ, ով տարիներ շարունակ աշխատել է պարոն Նախագահի գլխավորությամբ: Ես տեսել եմ բոլոր այդ դրական հատկանիշները»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:
Նա հավելեց, որ ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն է որոշելու, թե ինչ ճանապարհով է շարունակելու իր քաղաքական գործունեությունը: «Ես մի բան կարող եմ ասել`նա Հայաստանի ամենամեծ քաղաքական ուժի անվիճարկելի առաջնորդն է և այդպես շարունակելու է մնալ տեսանելի ապագայում: Սա ոչ թե կուսակցության, մեր բոլորիս ցանկությունն է, այլ անհրաժեշտություն է: Հայաստանում չկա մեկ այլ գործիչ, ով կկարողանա անվտանգության և այլ քաղաքական մարտահրավերների դիմակայումն ավելի լավ կազմակերպել, քան մեր երկրի նախագահը: Թե ինչ կարգավիճակում կլինի, դա կորոշի ինքը` Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Դա իմ լիազորությունների շրջանակում չէ»,- ընդգծեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:
Շարմազանովը հիշեցրեց, որ կառավարման խորհրդարանական համակարգում առանքային է լինելու իշխող քաղաքական ուժի դերակատարումը, իսկ ՀՀԿ-ն մինչև 2022թ. իրականացնելու է երկրի ղեկավարումը, քանի որ ՀՀ բնակչությունը իր վստահության քվեն տվել է հենց այդ կուսակցությանը: Նա վստահեցրեց, որ ՀՀԿ-ն լիարժեք վստահում է Սերժ Սարգսյանին: -0-/46/
