Հայաստանը և Իրանը գտնվում են մշակութային, քաղաքակրթական և աշխարհագրական նույն տարածաշրջանում, երկու երկրների հարաբերությունները բխում են դարերի խորքից ու հիմնված են երկու ժողովուրդների և մշակութային ընդհանրությունների վրա: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, նման հայտարարությամբ ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսի ընթացքում հանդես է եկել Իրանի առաջին փոխնախագահ Էսհաղ Ջահանգիրին:

«Մեր հարաբերությունները մշտապես հիմնված են եղել կայունության վրա, և Աստծո ցանկությամբ այդպես էլ կշարունակվի: Իրանի տարբեր քաղաքներում ապրող մեր հայ քաղաքացիներն ունեն ջերմ կապեր Հայաստանի Հանրապետության իրենց հայրենակիցների հետ, ինչը լավ կամուրջ է երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար: Մենք մեր հարևանների հետ ունենք լավ հարաբերություններ, և դրանց զարգացման նպատակով կատարվել են լուրջ աշխատանքներ»,- նշել է Իրանի առաջին փոխնախագահը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Իրանի հարևանների հետ տարվող արտաքին քաղաքականության օրակարգում Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունն ունի իր հատուկ տեղը: «Մենք Հայաստանի հետ քաղաքական, տնտեսական և մշակութային բնագավառներում համագործակցության համար որևէ սահմանափակում չունենք, և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության մեծարգո վարչապետի այցը երկու երկրների միջև քաղաքական, տնտեսական և մշակութային ոլորտներում հարաբերությունների զարգացման տեսակետից կարող է հատուկ դեր ունենալ»,- ընդգծել է Ջահանգիրին: Նրա ներկայացմամբ՝ առանձնազրույցի ու ընդլայնված կազմով բանակցությունների ընթացքում քննարկվել են հարցեր, որոնք կապահովեն երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացումը:

«Քանի որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության անդամ է և լավ հարաբերություններ ունի Եվրոպական միության հետ, ապա այս հարթակն երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար կարող է դրական լինել: Այն ընկերությունների համար, որոնք զբաղված են տրանսպորտի կապալառու գործունեության, շինարարության և տնտեսության տարբեր բնագավառներում, պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել, որ համապատասխան պայմաններ կստեղծվեն՝ նրանց ակտիվության ընդլայնման նպատակով:  Պարսից ծոցից Սև ծով անցնող տրանսպորտային միջանցքներից մեկը կարող է լինել Հայաստանը: Էլեկտրաէներգիայի և գազի փոխանակման ծրագրի շրջանակում ունենք երրորդ բարձրավոլտ գծի շինարարությունը, ինչպես նաև այսօր ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները կարող են խթան հանդիսանալ համագործակցության զարգացման համար: Կարծում եմ, որ մասնավոր հատվածի մեր ներկայացուցիչները կարող են օգտվել ստեղծվող պայմաններից, երկու երկրներում ազատ տնտեսական գոտիների առկայությունը նույնպես կարող է գործարար շրջանակների համագործակցության զարգացման խթան հանդիսանալ»,- ամփոփել է Իրանի առաջին փոխնախագահը:
