Էրդողանն առաջին անգամ մեկնաբանել է ԱՄՆ-ի հետ վիզային ճգնաժամը

Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը մեկնաբանել է թուրք-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններում ստեղծված նոր ճգնաժամն ու ԱՄՆ կողմից Թուրքիայի քաղաքացիների համար վիզաների անժամկետ չեղարկումն անվանել «տխրեցնող»:
Ինչպես գրում է թուրքական «Հյուրրիյեթ» պարբերականը, Էրդողանը շեշտել է, որ ի պատասխան ԱՄՆ-ի այս քայլի` Թուրքիան գործել է օրենքի շրջանակներում և ձեռնարկել պատասխան քայլ:
«Ամենից առաջ տեղի ունեցածն ինձ համար շատ տխրեցնող է: Այսինքն՝ այն, որ Անկարայում ԱՄՆ դեսպանը նման բան է որոշում ու գործի դնում այն՝ տխրեցնող փաստ է: Երբ մեր արտգործնախարարը հայտնեց ինձ լուրը, առաջին բանը, որ ասացի՝ «Թուրքիան օրենքի պետություն է»: Մենք օրենքով գործող պետություն ենք, մենք ցեղ չենք, ոչ էլ ցեղային պետություն: Այն պահին, երբ ամերիկյան կողմը կատարել է նման հայտարարություն, մենք էլ համապատասխանաբար նույն հայտարարությունն ուղղել ենք նրանց կողմին», - ասել է Էրդողանը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Թուրքիայում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը հյուպատոսական աշխատակցի ձերբակալությունից հետո հայտարարել են այցագրերի տրամադրումը դադարեցնելու մասին։ Այնուհետ պատասխան քայլերի մասին տեղեկացրել էր նաև ԱՄՆ-ում Թուրքիայի դեսպանատունը։
ԱՄՆ դիվանագիտական առաքելության աշխատակիցը ձերբակալվել էր Ստամբուլում անցած շաբաթ՝ անցյալ տարի տապալված հեղաշրջման պատասխանատու համարվող ընդդիմադիր իսլամիստ քարոզիչ Ֆեթհուլլահ Գյուլենի կազմակերպության հետ կապերի մեղադրանքով:
Թուրքիայում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ կառավարությունը խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնում Ստամբուլում ամերիկյան գլխավոր հյուպատոսության աշխատակից Մեթին Թոփուզի ձերբակալութան առնչությամբ և նրա դեմ մեղադրանքները համարում է անհիմն և հակասող Թուրքիայի հետ գործընկերային հարաբերություններին:
Այդ հայտարարությանը հաջորդել է Վաշինգտոնում Թուրքիայի դեսպանատան հայտարարությունը, որը գրեթե նույնությամբ կրկնել է նախորդ հայտարարությունը՝ երկրների անունները փոփոխելով:
