Երևանի ավագանին հոկտեմբերի 11-ին գումարած արտահերթ նիստում, որը վարել է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը, հաստատել է Երևանի քաղաքապետի առաջարկը՝ Երևան քաղաքի 2799-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ, կինոարվեստի զարգացման գործում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի, ակնառու վաստակի, երկարամյա և բեղմնավոր գործունեության համար կինոռեժիսոր, ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ Արտավազդ Աշոտի Փելեշյանին «Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի» կոչում շնորհելու մասին որոշման նախագիծը։
Ավագանու մեկ այլ որոշմամբ, Երևանի 2799-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ, նկատի առնելով հայկական հեռուստատեսության բնագավառում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդը, բազմամյա վաստակն ու բեղմնավոր գործունեությունը, «Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի» կոչում է շնորհվել հաղորդավարուհի, ՀԽՍՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ Նարա Սուրենի Շլեպչյանին։
Երևանի 2799-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ, հաշվի առնելով հայ գրականության բնագավառում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդը, ակնառու վաստակն ու բազմամյա գործունեությունը, Երևանի ավագանին քննարկել և հաստատել է բանաստեղծ, հասարակական գործիչ Ռազմիկ Նիկողոսի Դավոյանին «Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի» կոչում շնորհելու մասին որոշման նախագիծը:
Ավագանու մեկ այլ որոշմամբ, տնտեսության զարգացման գործում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի և Երևան քաղաքում ակտիվ գործունեություն ծավալելու համար, Երևանի 2799-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ, «Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի» կոչում է շնորհվել նաև «ՎիվաՍել–ՄՏՍ»-ի գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռալֆ Սեզարի Յիրիկյանին:
