Ընտանեկան բռնության դեմ պայքարին ու դրա քննարկումները առաջ են բերում հայաստանյան հասարակությունում այժմ առկա երկու տարբեր բևեռների բախման փաստը: Մի կողմից օրինականության, մյուս կողմից ՝ բարոյականության:
Համայնական բարոյականությունը, որը տարիներ շարունակ, պետության բացակայության ժամանակ եղել է հայերի գոյատևման հարացույցներից մեկը, պետության գոյության պարագայում չի կարողանում ամբողջովին դրսևորել իրեն: Պետությունը կառավարվում է օրենքներով, ոչ թե էթնիկ կամ ազգային բարոյականությամբ: Մյուս կողմից սակայն հայկական պետությունը այժմ չունի այն ինստիտուցիոնալ բազան, որպեսզի միանշանակ դոմինանտություն ստանա օրենքը:
Նմանօրինակ քննարկումները առաջ են բերում Հայաստանի պարադոքսալ վիճակը; Այդ վիճակը շատ ցայտուն արտահայտվում է հայկական վերնախավի պահվածքում: Նրանք մի կողմից հիմնվում են էթնիկ, ընտանեկան, ազգակցական ու արյունակցական կապերի վրա, դրանցում է նրանց ուժը: Մյուս կողմից, չունենալով ավտորիտարիզմի լիարժեք ռեսուրս, հայաստանյան իշխանությունը փորձում է դուր գալ Եվրոմիությանը և ընդունել օրենքներ, որոնք առաջարկվում են Եվրոմիության կողմից:
