Պաշտպանության բանակի առանձին մոտոհրաձգային բրիգադներից մեկում հոկտեմբերի 14-ին կազմակերպվել է տոնական միջոցառում՝ նվիրված արցախյան գոյամարտի տարիներից հայտնի լեգենդար կենտրոնական պաշտպանական շրջանի ժառանգորդը հանդիսացող զորամասի կազմավորման 25-ամյակին: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունից, միջոցառմանը մասնակցել են Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը, թեմակալ առաջնորդ Պարգև արքեպիսկոպոս Մարտիրոսյանը, ՊՆ, ՊԲ հրամանատար, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Լևոն Մնացականյանը, բարձրաստիճան այլ պաշտոնյաներ ու զինվորականներ, ազատամարտիկներ:

Բանակի հրամանատարն իր ելույթում հիշատակել է զորամասի մարտական գործողությունների ծավալուն աշխարհագրությունը, շնորհավորել ողջ անձնակազմին տոն օրվա կապակցությամբ՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ բրիգադը այսուհետև կլինի լեգենդար Կենտրոնական պաշտպանական շրջանի հերոսական ավանդույթների կրողն ու պահապանը և հայրենիքի պաշտպանության սուրբ առաքելությունը կիրականացնի ամենայն պատասխանատվությամբ:

Հանդիսավոր միջոցառման ընթացքում հնչած ելույթներում անդրադարձ է կատարվել զորամասի փառավոր մարտական անցյալին ու մերօրյա արարումներին, հիշատակվել են այն անհատների անունները, ովքեր պատերազմի տարիներին մարտնչելով կենտրոնական պաշտպանական շրջանի կազմում, հանուն երկրի պաշտպանության զոհաբերել են ամենաթանկը, պարգևներ են հանձնվել իրենց կենսագրությունը բրիգադի հետ կապած նախկին ու գործող մի շարք զինծառայողների:
