Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը կիսում է վարորդների վրդովմունքը՝ պայմանավորված ճանապարհային ոստիկանության որոշ տեսուչների անբարեխիղճ, իսկ երբեմն՝ հանցավոր վարքագծով: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ՀՀ Նախագահն այս մասին ասել է ոստիկանության կոլեգիայի ընդլայնված նիստում իր ելույթի ժամանակ: «Ճանապարհային ոստիկանության առանձին ծառայողներ այն աստիճան են կորցրել իրականության զգացողությունը կամ այնքան են վստահ սեփական անպատժելիության մեջ, որ բացահայտ կոռուպցիոն վարքագիծ են դրսևորում, այլ բառերով ասած՝ դրսևորում են լկտի վարքագիծ: Նրանք անգամ չեն խորշում այն փաստից, որ դա արձանագրվում է իրենց իսկ համազգեստի վրա ամրացված տեսախցիկներով»,- ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Նա հավելել է, որ բարեփոխումների գործընթացը եղել և մնում է իր առաջնահերթությունների շարքում: «Անշուշտ, պետք է դրական գնահատել այս ոլորտում կատարվող աշխատանքը: Կարծում եմ՝ մեր վարորդների համար ակնհայտ է, որ վերջին տարիներին բարելավվել են քաղաքացիների հետ ճանապարհային ոստիկանների շփումները: Նաև պետք է ճանաչենք, որ նվազագույնի են հասել չարաշահման դրսևորումները»,- ընդգծել է ՀՀ Նախագահը: 

Նրա խոսքով՝  ոստիկանը պետք է աներկյուղ լինի իր աշխատանքում և չհաշտվի անօրինականության հետ, սակայն դա բնավ չի նշանակում, որ ոստիկանը մտրակով վերակացու պետք է լինի փողոցում: «Ոստիկանը պետք է ուղղորդի քաղաքացուն, օգնի և պարզաբանի ճիշտ ճանապարհը: Երևան քաղաքի շարունակաբար բարդացող ճանապարհային երթևեկության պայմաններում բարեկիրթ պարզաբանումը և նախազգուշացումը երբեմն կարող է շատ ավելի ազդեցիկ լինել, քան մեխանիկաբար տուգանք դուրս գրելը: Նման վարքագիծը, անկասկած, կմեծացնի ոստիկանի հանդեպ հանրության հարգանքն ու վստահությունը: Ասածս ճիշտ հասկացեք՝ սա այլ բան չի նշանակում: Սա նշանակում է, որ աշխատանքում պետք է օգտագործել տարբեր մեթոդներ:Կարծում եմ, որ տարեսկզբին հաստատված «Ճանապարհային ոստիկանության համակարգի բարեփոխումների հայեցակարգը» մոտ ապագայում այս առումով տալու է իր նկատելի արդյունքը»:
