Հայաստանը չի բանակցելու, քանի դեռ սահմանին վտանգ կա: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում նշեց քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը` անդրադառնալով ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի վերջին ելույթի պաշտպանության ոլորտին առնչվող շեշտադրումներին:

«Նախագահի ելույթի հիմնական և կարևոր ուղերձներից մեկն այն էր, որ հնարավոր չէ մեկ ձեռքով պատերազմել, մյուս ձեռքով բանակցել: Այսինքն` անհրաժեշտ է կողմնորոշվել, թե վերջին հաշվով ադրբեջանական կողմն ինչին է ձգտում: Մենք փաստացի տեսնում ենք, որ պայմանավորվածություններ են ձեռք բերվում, Ալիևը ստորագրում է այդ պայմանավորվածությունների ներքո, բայց հաջորդող օրերին դրանք խախտվում են, և տարածաշրջանում կայունության տեսակետից իրավիճակն անհասկանալի է դառնում: Այն վտանգները, որոնք կան, շարունակում են գոյություն ունենալ»,-ասաց Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը:

Քաղաքագետը նշեց, որ այստեղ պաշտոնական Երևանը հետաքրքիր մոտեցումներ է ցուցաբերում: Այդ նոր մոտեցումներն ակներև են անմիջապես ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո: Նրա խոսքով, այդ ագրեսիան անհետևանք չէր կարող մնալ, հայկական կողմն այսօր խոսում է դիրքորոշման կարծրացման անհրաժեշտության,  ինչպես նաև խաղաղության հասնելու նոր մեխանիզմների մասին, որոնց գործադրմամբ հնարավոր է եղել Ալիևին ստիպել Վիեննայում և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում փաստաթուղթստորագրել, սակայն դեռ հնարավոր չի եղել հասնել նրան, որ դրանք կյանքի կոչվեն:

«Այսինքն` հայկական կողմն ուզում է համոզված լինել, որ բանակցությունների համար ժամանակն Ադրբեջանը չի օգտագործի հերթական պատերազմին նախապատրաստվելու համար: Հիմա դա կլինի մեր դիրքորոշման կարծրացման, թե միջնորդների հետ համագործակցության միջոցով, դրանք տեխնիկական հարցեր են:: Փաստն այն է, որ Հայաստանը չի բանակցելու, քանի դեռ սահմանին վտանգ կա»,-ասաց քաղաքագետը:
