Ատոմային էներգետիկայի պահպանումն ու զարգացումը շարունակում է Հայաստանի համար մնալ ռազմավարական ուղղություն՝ համաձայն 2015թ. դեկտեմբերին ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից հաստատած «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության էներգետիկ համակարգի երկարաժամկետ (մինչև 2036 թ.) զարգացման ուղիները» ծրագրի: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հոկտեմբերի 27-ին Կառավարության ընդունելությունների տանը Նախագահին կից ատոմային էներգետիկայի անվտանգության խորհրդի (ԱԷԱԽ) նորանշանակ նախագահ, Ատոմային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալության և Միջուկային օպերատորների համաշխարհային ասոցիացիայի ավագ խորհրդական Միրոսլավ Լիպարի հետ հանդիպման շամանակ հայտարարել է ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ բազիսային էլեկտրաէներգիայի ստեղծման կառուցվածքում ԱԷԿ-ի առկայությունը թույլ կտա Հայաստանին պահպանել էներգետիկ անվտանգության անհրաժեշտ մակարդակը:
«Ծրագիրը նախատեսում է գործող բլոկի շահագործումը երկարաձգել մինչև 2027թ., իսկ հետագայում իրականացնել նոր միջուկային բլոկների փուլային ներդրում:
ԱԷԿ երկրորդ էներգաբլոկի շահագործման ժամկետի երկարաձգման ծրագրի իրականացման համար Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության միջև ստորագրվել են Հայաստանի կառավարությանը պետական արտահանման վարկ տրամադրելու մասին և այդ ծրագրի ֆինանսավորման նպատակով դրամաշնորհի տրամադրման համաձայնագրերը:
Երկրորդ էներգաբլոկի շահագործման ժամկետի երկարաձգման ծրագրի շրջանակներում իրականացվում են նախագծային և շահագործման անվտանգության բարձրացման, ինչպես նաև դրա արդիականացման միջոցառումներ: 2017թ. պլանային նախազգուշական վերանորոգման ընթացքում շահագործման ժամկետի երկարաձգման առաջին փուլի աշխատանքները, այդ թվում՝ էներգաբլոկի սարքավորումների գործիքային զննությունը, գործնականում ավարտվել են»,- ասել է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
