ՄԱԿ-ում ՀՀ ներկայացուցիչը մասնակցել է Անվտանգության խորհրդի քննարկմանը

ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդում հոկտեմբերի 27-ին տեղի ունեցավ «Կանայք, անվտանգությունը և խաղաղությունը» խորագրով (“Women, Peace and Security”) քննարկում, որին ելույթով հանդես եկավ ՄԱԿ-ում ՀՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Հանդիպումը նվիրված էր խաղաղության և հակամարտությունների կարգավորման գործընթացներում կանանց ներգրավվածությանը, ինչպես նաև գենդերային և սեռական բռնությունների դեմ պայքարի ՄԱԿ-ի օրակարգին։

Դեսպան Մնացականյանն իր ելույթում կարևորեց խաղաղության և կայուն զարգացման գործընթացներում կանանց դերակատարության ամրապնդումը՝ միջազգային, տարածաշրջանային և ազգային հարթություններում։

Անդրադառնալով ազգային մակարդակում ձեռնարկվող միջոցառումներին, դեսպան Մնացականյանը հիշատակեց կանանց հավասարության և իրավունքների պաշտպանության ուղղությամբ ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից ընդունված մի շարք ծրագրեր և օրենսդրական նախաձեռնություններ։ ՀՀ դեսպանը նշեց, որ Մարդու իրավունքների խրախուսման և պաշտպանության ազգային ռազմավարությունում և գործողությունների ծրագրում զգալիորեն արտացոլված են կանանց հավասարության և նրանց դերի բարձրացմանն ուղղված դրույթներ։

Նշվեց նաև, որ ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից քայլեր են ձեռնարկվում մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության վերաբերյալ օրենսդրության բարելավման ուղղությամբ, ինչպես նաև մշակվում է Անվտանգության խորհրդի 1325 բանաձևի (խաղաղության և հակամարտությունների կարգավորման գործընթացներում կանաց դերակատարության վերաբերյալ) իրականացմանն ուղղված գործողությունների ծրագիր՝ 2018թ․ ընդունելու նպատակով։

Իր ելույթում ՀՀ դեսպանը շեշտեց, որ Հայաստանը բարձր է գնահատում քաղաքացիական հասարակության՝ մասնավորապես կանանց խնդիրներով զբաղվող կազմակերպությունների դերակատարությունը՝ հակամարտությունների խաղաղ հանգուցալուծման համար բարենպաստ մթնոլորտի ապահովման և հակամարտող կողմերի միջև վստահության ամրապնդման գործում։

Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հանգուցալուծման գործընթացի համատեքստում դեսպան Մնացականյանը նշեց, որ «Հայաստանը մշտապես կարևորել է երկխոսության և վստահության ամրապնդմանն ուղղված միջոցառումները, սակայն երկխոսությունը խրախուսելուն ուղղված ջանքերը դժբախտաբար խաթարվում են հարևան երկրի ղեկավարության կողմից հայերի նկատմամբ շարունակաբար տարվող ատելության, ազգային պատկանելիության հիման վրա անհանդուրժողականության քաղաքականության խրախուսմամբ, ինչպես նաև մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանների, այդ թվում՝ կանանց, նկատմամբ բռնությունների և բանտարկություների պատճառով»։

Անվտանգության խորհրդի քննարկմանը մասնակցում էին նաև Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության Գլխավոր քարտուղար Միկայել Ժանը, ՄԱԿ-ի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ և մի շարք երկրների արտաքին գործերի ու կանանց հարցերով պատասխանատու նախարարներ։
