Արցախի Հանրապետության մամուլի քարտուղար Դավիթ Բաբայանը Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում անդրադարձավ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի հայտարարությանը, ըստ որի` Արցախի հիմնախնդիրը նույնչափ կարևոր է Թուրքիայի համար, որքան Ադրբեջանի։ Էրդողանն այնուհետ Արցախի հիմնախնդիրն անվանել է «արնահոսող վերք»:

Նա նշեց, որ Թուրքիան միշտ էլ արցախյան խնդրի անուղղակի կողմ է և բացեիբաց աջակցում է Ադրբեջանին: «Ավելին` Թուրքիան, լինելով ցեղասպան պետություն, կատարելով հայերի, ասորիների, եզդիների տարբեր այլ ժողովուրդների ցեղասպանությունը, չի ճանաչում այն և շարունակում է այսպիսի ահաբեկչական քաղաքականություն վարել: Խնդիրն այն է, որ այդ վերքը իրենց ուղեղների և սրտերի մեջ է, քանի որ չեն փոխվում, նույն ֆաշիզմն են քարոզում, նույն հայատյացությունը: Սա ոչ միայն վերք է, սա նույնիսկ մի այնպիսի գործընթաց է, որ թարախակալել է»,-ասաց նա:

Դավիթ Բաբայանն ասաց, որ Թուրքիան իր ակտիվությունը արցախյան հարցում երբեք էլ չի թուլացրել, պարզապես Թուրքիայի նկատմամբ կան զսպիչ ուժեր, որոնք չեն թողնում, որ այդ երկիրը դիմի աննորմալ քայլերի, ինչպես անում է Սիրիայի, Իրաքի, Քրդստանի հարցում: «Եթե չլինեին այդ զսպիչ ուժերը, անպայման Թուրքիան վաղուց արդեն ագրեսիա կիրականացներ»,-ասաց նա և պարզաբանեց, որ այդ զսպիչ ուժերի մեջ են միջազգային հանրությունը, եռանախագահ երկրները մի շարք տարածաշրջանային վեկտորներ:

«Թուրքիան ուզում է ասել մեկ բան, որ ինքը Ադրբեջանի մեջքին է, որ հայությունը նրա թշնամին է, և որևէ բան չի փոխել իր մոտեցումների մեջ: Դա վտանգ է, որը երբևէ չի թուլացել»,-ասաց նա:

Անդրադառնալով Կատալոնիայի անկախացման վերաբերյալ Ադրբեջանում հնչած արձագանքներին` Դավիթ Բաբայանն ասաց, որ Ադրբեջանում առկա մեկնաբանությունները ցույց են տալիս, որ աննորմալ երևույթ է ձևավորվել Ադրբեջանում: «Արցախում երբևէ հիստերիկ որևէ արձագանք Կատալոնիայում տեղի ունեցած գործընթացների վերաբերյալ չի եղել, ընդհակառակը` եղել է շատ հավասարակշռված և ծանրակշիռ մոտեցում: Ադրբեջանում է, որ ստեղծվել է հիստերիկ մթնոլորտ, քանի որ տեսնում են, որ ազգերի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի աշխարհագրությունն է ընդլայնվում, և քանակապես է նոր հարթություն տեղափոխվում, հետևաբար նման ձևով են արձագանքում»,-ասաց նա:

Խոսելով միջազգային հանրության արձագանքի մասին` նա ասաց, որ տարբեր հայտարարություններ են եղել և ոմանք կողմնակից են եղել տարածքային ամբողջականության պահպանման, ոմանք էլ ասում են, որ պետք է հաղթի իրավունքի ուժը: «Սա շատ կարևոր է, այսինքն` իրավունքը պետք է լինի գերակշիռ, ոչ թե ուժը, այ սա է, որ Ադրբեջանում ստեղծել այդ հիստերիկ մթնոլորտը»,-ասաց նա:
