Մամուլում այսօր քննարկվող հիմնական թեմաներից մեկը ՀՅԴ բյուրոյի անդամ, կուսակցության առանցքային գործիչներից մեկի ՝ Հրանտ Մարգարյանի այն դիտարկումն է, որ չնայած որոշակի ակտիվացմանը, հասարակությանը սոցիալական վիճակը չի բարելավել, բեկումնային փոփոխություններ չեն զգացվում:

ՀՅԴ-ն Կարապետյանի հետ լարված հարաբերություններ ունեցել է ամենասկզբից: Չնայած երկու կողմերն էլ հրապարակավ խուսանավում են այդ մասին խոսել, բայց միմյանց դեմ տեղեկատվական ակնարկների առատությունը թույլ է տալիս ենթադրել, որ նմանատիպ լարվածություն ամեն դեպքում կա:

Լարվածության մեխը կայանում է նրանում, որ ՀՅԴ-ն կոալիցիա է մտել ըստ էության ոչ թե Կարապետյանի, այլ Սարգսյանի հետ: Ավելին ՝ ապագայում վարչապետի ընտրության հարցը Դաշնակցությունը լիովին զիջել է մեծամասնություն ունեցող ՀՀԿ-ին: Այսինքն փաստացի հայտնվելով Սերժ Սարգսյանին նաև առաջիկայում թիվ մեկ գործիչը համարողների շարքում:

Հրանտ Մարգարյանը, որն ի տարբերություն այլ դաշնակցականների, կառավարության անդամ չէ, այս իմաստով ավելի ազատ է դիտարկումներ անել: Առաջին անգամը չէ, որ Մարգարյանի խոսքերում քննադատություն է հայտնվում կառավարության գործունեության նկատմամբ: Հավանաբար թե ՀՅԴ-ն, թե Սերժ Սարգսյանը ՝ ՀՅԴ միջոցով փորձում են վարչապետին նուրբ ակնարկներ հասցնել այն մասին, որ նրա լավատեսությունն անտեղի  է, ու որ նա վարչապետության հեղափոխական մեկնարկը ձախողել է:
