Թբիլիսիի աղետը սպառնում է Երեւանին, կկրկնվի 1946թ. սելավը

«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Թբիլիսիում հունիսի 13-ի գիշերը տեղի ունեցած բնական աղետը, որ խլել է 14 մարդու կյանք եւ մի քանի տասնյակ միլիոն լարիի վնաս հասցրել, սպառնում է նաեւ Հայաստանին։ Հայաստանն այս առումով որեւէ կերպ ապահովագրված չէ»,- մեզ հետ զրույցում ասաց «Հայհիդրոէներգո» նախագծի գլխավոր հիդրոլոգ Ռոլանդ Մանուկյանը:
Նա նշեց, որ այս խնդիրը տարիներ շարունակ՝ բացի նախագահից, բարձրացրել է թե վարչապետի, թե համապատասխան գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարների մոտ։ Թեեւ բոլորը խնդիրը հասկացել են, բայց հիդրոլոգի խոսքով՝ որեւէ մեկը որեւէ քայլ չձեռնարկեց խնդրի լուծման համար։
«Վտանգը նույնն է, ինչ 46-47թթ. սելավը։ Նույն բանը կարող է կրկնվել եւ դեռ ավելի վատ, որովհետեւ դրանից հետո կառավարության հատուկ պատվերով նախագիծ իրագործվեց։ Գետառից եկող ջրի մի մասը դեպի Հրազդան էր գնում։ Հիմա ամբողջը քանդված է, եւ ընդամենը մի փոքր լիճ կա, որը չի կարող ղեկավարել որեւէ բան։ Իսկ ջրանցքը, որ տանում էր դեպի Հրազդան, ոչնչացված է։ Այնպես որ՝ վտանգը շարունակվում է մեր գլխին կախված մնալ»,-ասաց հիդրոլոգը՝ հավելելով, որ երբ նման անձրեւ գա, նույն բանը կկրկնվի մեզ մոտ եւ դեռ ավելի վատ հետեւանքներով։
Մասնագետի խոսքով՝ այդ անձրեւները պետք է գան Գեղամա լեռների արեւմտյան լանջերի վրա, որ Գետառը սնվի, իսկ այս հատվածում նման անձրեւ չի եղել՝ թեեւ անձրեւաշատ տարվան, եւ դրա շնորհիվ է, որ մենք փրկվել ենք։
Վերջինիս խոսքով՝ մինչեւ Թբիլիսիում տեղի ունեցածը չկրկնվի, խելքի չեն գա»:
