Ամերիկյան արտադրության «Արամ, Արամ» ֆիլմը, որը հաջողությամբ շրջագայում է ու ներկայացվում տարբեր փառատոններում, արդեն հաջողություն է վայելում նաև Լոս Անջելոսում:Վկայակոչելով «Ասպարեզ» պարբերականը, հայազգի դերասանների մասնաÕ �ցությամբ Լոս Անջելեսի Փոքր Հայաստան թաղամասում նկարահանված այս ֆիլմը ամբողջությամբ ստեղծվել և նկարահանվել է այլազգիների կողմից:

Ռեժիսոր Քրիստոֆեր Չամբերսի մոտ, ով իրեն անվանում է «100%-ով ոչ հայ», նման ֆիլմի ստեղծման մտահաղացում ծագել էր դեռ վաղուց, երբ նա ապրում և մեծանում էր Լոս Անջելեսի Սան Ֆերնանսոյի հովտում: «Ես միշտ հիացած եմ եղել հայկական համայնքով, սակայն երբեք հնարավորություն չեմ ունեցել անմիջական կապ ունենալ նրա հետ», - ասել է Քրիստոֆեր Չամբերսը:

Քսան տարեկանում Չամբերսն ընկերանում է հայազգի կինոօպերատորի հետ, ով ծանոթացնում է նրան հարուստ հայկական մշակույթին, Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը: Այդպես 1980-ականներից նա սկսում է հետազոտել ԱՄՆ հայկական ներգաղթի հետևում կանգնած պատմությունը:

Արդյունքը դարձավ «Արամ, Արամ» ֆիլմը՝ հայազգի դերասանների Լևոն Շարաֆյանի, Ալլա Թումանյանի, այլոց մասնակցությամբ: Ֆիլմը դարձավ հայերի մասին պատմող առաջին ժապավենը, որը ներկայացվեց 20 տարվա պատմություն ունեցող Լոս Անջելեսի կինոփառատոնին: Սակայն մինչ այդ «Արամ, Արամ»-ն արդեն արժանացել էր հանդիսատեսի ուշադրությանը «Ոսկե ծիրան» և Մոնրեալի կինոփառատոններում:
