Իսրայելի հայ համայնքը կարևորում է Հայաստան-Իսրայել հարաբերություններին նոր լիցք հաղորդելուն ուղղված քայլերը:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց ՀՅԴ Երուսաղեմի Հայ Դատի հանձնախմբի ատենապետ Հակոբ Սեւանը, վերջին շրջանում այդ ուղղությամբ որոշակի տեղաշարժ է նկատվում:  «Վերջին 20-25 տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստան-Իսրայել հարաբերություններում էական արդյունքներ չեն նկատվել: Այժմ տեսնում ենք որոշակի տեղաշարժ, և հույս ունենք, որ այս քայլերը մեկնարկային հարթակ կլինեն երկու երկրների հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու համար»,-ասաց Հակոբ Սևանը: 

Նա նկատեց, որ երկու երկրների միջև համագործակցության մեծ ներուժ կա տնտեսության ոլորտում: Մասնավորապես, կարող են փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնել գյուղատնտեսության, առողջապահության ոլորտները: «Այսօր երկու երկրների տնտեսական համագործակցության մակարդակը շատ ցածր է: Իսրայելի շուկաներում հազվադեպ կարող ենք գտնել հայկական ապրանքներ, այն էլ որոշ տեղերում միայն գինի: Այնինչ, կարելի էր այդ բացը լրացնել:

Հայ համայնքը կողմնակից է, որ երկու երկրների տնտեսական հարաբերությունների մակարդակը բարձր լինի»,-ասաց Հակոբ Սևանը: Տնտեսական հարաբերություններում լավատեսական շեշտադրումներին զուգահեռ, Հակոբ Սևանն իր մտահոգությունը հայտնեց քաղաքական դաշտում առկա իրավիճակի մասին: Նրա կարծիքով, այս հարթակում դեռ երկու երկրների հարաբերությունները կմնան նույնը: Էական փոփոխություն չի լինի: «Գիտենք, որ Իսրայելը շարունակում է զինել Ադրբեջանին, որը հակահայ քաղաքականություն է վարում: Մյուս կողմից էլ ունենք Հայոց ցեղասպանության չճանաչումը:

Չի բացառվում, որ Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերություններին նոր լիցք հաղորդելուն ուղղված քայլերը լինեն Թուրքիայի հետ ոչ այնքան լավ հարաբերություններ ունենալու համատեքստում: Գաղտնիք չէ, որ այսօր Իսրայելի ու Թուրքիայի հարաբերությունները նախկինի նման չեն»,-կարծիք հայտնեց Հակոբ Սևանը: Ամեն դեպքում նա կարևոր համարեց վերջին շրջանի այցելությունները՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ տեսանելի ապագայում կտան իրենց արդյունքները:  ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը` Իսրայելի վարչապետ և արտգործնախարար Բենիամին Նաթանյահուի հրավերով նոյեմբերի 6-7-ը պաշտոնական այց է կատարել Իսրայել։ Այցի ընթացքում նախատեսված էին Հայաստանի արտգործնախարարի հանդիպումները Իսրայելի գործադիր և օրենսդիր իշխանությունների բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչների հետ։

Երուսաղեմի Հայոց պատրիարքարանում նախատեսված էր Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Երուսաղեմի Հայոց պատրիարք Նուրհան արքեպիսկոպոս Մանուկյանի հետ։ Օրեր առաջ էլ Իսրայելի նախագահի նստավայրում Ռաուլ Վոլենբերգի անվան միջազգային կազմակերպության (IRWF) կողմից պարգեւատրվել են աշխարհահռչակ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրը եւ նրա քույրը՝ Աիդան։ Պարգևատրման արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել հոկտեմբերի 26-ին, Ազնավուրին ընդունել է Իսրայելի նախագահը: Ազնավուրներն այս պարգևին արժանանում են մարդասիրական մոտեցման համար:
