ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Լևոն Ալթունյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Ֆրանսիայի  արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ջոնաթան Լաքոտին։ Շնորհավորելով և արդյունավետ գոծունեություն մաղթելով նորանշանակ դեսպանին` նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ առողջապահության ոլորտում երկու երկրի անցած տարիների համագործակցության փորձն ու արդյունքները լավ հիմք են հետագա համատեղ ծրագրերի համար։

Ջոնաթան Լաքոտը կարևորել է, որ առողջապահությունը հայ-ֆրանսիական համագործակցության կենտրոնական տեղերում է` սկիզբ առնելով 1988թ. ավերիչ երկրաշարժից հետո ցուցաբերված բժշկական առաջին օգնություններից։ 

Նախարարը դեսպանին ներկայացրել է առողջապահության ոլորտում ընթացող բարեփոխումները` շեշտը դնելով 2018թ. գարնանը երկրի անապահով և հատուկ խմբերում ընդգրկված քաղաքացիների համար պետության կողմից ապահովագրական փաթեթներ ձեռք բերելու ծրագրի վրա։ Եկող տարվա վերջին դրան կհաջորդի առողջության համընդհանուր ապահովագրության հայեցակարգի մշակումը։  Լևոն Ալթունյանը Ջոնաթան Լաքոտին ներկայացրել է նաև կլինիկական ուղեցույցների, էլեկտրոնային առողջապահական համակարգի ներդրման ընթացքի և դրանցից ակնկալվող արդյունքների մասին

Դեսպանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանի առողջապահության ոլորտում այնպիսի ծավալուն և կարևոր բարեփոխումներ են ընթանում, որոնք արդեն իրականացվել են Ֆրանսիայում և այսօր էլ շարունակվում են կյանքի կոչվել եվրոպական մի շարք երկրներում։ Նա նաև հավելել է, որ իր երկրում այդ ծրագրերի կայացման ընթացքում բուռն բանավեճեր են ընթացել։ Սակայն հետագայում մարդիկ համոզվել են, որ իրականացված քեյլերը համակարգի առաջընթացն են ապահովել։

Հայաստանում գտնվելու մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում   Ջոնաթան Լաքոտի մոտ կարծիք է ձևավորվել, որ մեզանում առողջապահական ամենալուրջ մարտահրավերներից մեկը ծխախոտի չարաշահումն է։ Նա նախարարին տեղեկացրել է, որ դեկտեմբերին մեր սրտաբանները ծխելու դեմ պայքարի ոլորտում կվերապատրաստվեն Ֆրանսիայում։  Լևոն Ալթունյանը խնդիրը դիտարկել է ավելի լայն` առողջ ապրելակերպի, վնասակար մի շարք սովորույթներից զերծ մնալու ենթատեքստում։  Նա նշել է, որ այդ գաղափարները հանրությանը հասցնելու և առողջ ապրելակերպի մշակույթ ներդնելու նպատակով աշխատանքներ են տարվում առողջ ապրելակերպի հիմնադրամ ստեղծելու ուղղությամբ։

Լևոն Ալթունյանը և Ջոնաթան Լաքոտը քննարկել են առողջապահության ոլորտում երկու երկրի համագործակցությունը խորացնելու հնարավորությունները։ Երկուստեք կարևորվել է Փարիզի  Գյուստավ Ռուսսի ուռուցքաբանության ինստիտուտի հետ համագործակցությունը շարունակելու և ֆրանսիական բրենդի մուտքը Հայաստան կյանքի կոչելու ծրագիրը։ Նախարարն այն կարևորել է Հայաստանում ուռուցքային հիվանդությունների բուժման արդյունավետությունն ապահովելու տեսանկյունից։

Նախանշվել են հետագա համագործակցության այլ ոլորտներ ևս։
