Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է ԵԽ տեղական և տարածքային կոնգրեսի նախագահի գլխավորած պատվիրակության հետ

Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է «Հայացք ապագային. ապակենտրոնացման նոր օրակարգ» համաժողովին մասնակցելու նպատակով Երևանում գտվող Եվրոպայի խորհրդի տեղական և տարածքային կոնգրեսի նախագահ Գուդրուն Մոսլեր-Թյորնստյոմի գլխավորած պատվիրակության հետ: Ողջունելով հյուրերին քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը կարևորել է Երևանում համաժողովի անցկացումը ՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ դրա շրջանակում կազմակերպվող քննարկումները կարևոր հարթակ կհանդիսանան կարծիքների փոխանակման համար:
«Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը բարձր է գնահատում Եվրոպայի խորհրդի տեղական և տարածքային կոնգրեսի հետ համագործակցությունը, և մեկ անգամ ևս վերահաստատում ենք, որ մենք բաց և պատրաստակամ ենք Կոնգրեսի հետ համատեղ հստակ ծրագրերի իրականացման համար: Ինչպես գիտեք, հաջորդ տարին Երևանի համար հոբելյանական է: Նշելու ենք մեր քաղաքի հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակը և այդ համատեքստում Եվրոպայի խորհրդի կոնգրեսին առաջարկելու ենք 2018 թվականին Կոնգրեսի նստաշրջանի շրջանակում համատեղ կազմակերպել «Հին քաղաք, խելացի քաղաք» խորագրով ցուցահանդես», - ընդգծել է քաղաքապետը:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի տեղական և տարածքային կոնգրեսի նախագահ Գուդրուն Մոսլեր-Թյորնստյոմն իր հերթին առանձնակի կարևորելով Երևանում համաժողովի անցկացումը, նկատել է, որ այն հրաշալի հնարավորություն է՝ ամփոփելու Հայաստանում Տեղական ինքնակառավարման համակարգի ձևավորման 21-ամյա գործունեությունն ու նախանշելու բարեփոխումների առաջիկա ծրագրերը:
«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, մենք մեծապես կարևորում ենք Ձեր՝ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի տեղական և տարածքային կոնգրեսի անդամ լինելու հանգամանքը, ինչպես նաև նախատեսվող բարեփոխումներում Ձեր հանձնառությունը: Ինչ վերաբերում է Երևանի 2800-ամյա հոբելյանին, ապա նախ ուզում եմ նշել, որ նման պատկառելի տարիքն արդեն իսկ փաստում է, որ Երևանն արժանի է իր մշակույթով և ձեռքբերումներով հավուր պատշաճի ներկայանալու ամենուր: Եվ համոզված եղեք, որ մենք պատրաստ ենք ըստ ամենայնի աջակցել Ձեզ՝ հոբելյանական տարվա շրջանակում նախատեսվող միջոցառումների կազմակերպման և անցկացման հարցում»,- նշել է Գուդրուն Մոսլեր-Թյորնստյոմը:
