Երկրաշարժի հետեւանքով Պակիստանում զոհվածների թիվը հասել Է 255-ի

Հոկտեմբերի 26-ին Աֆղանստանում տեղի ունեցած ուժգին երկրաշարժի հետեւանքով Պակիստանում զոհվածների թիվը հասել Է 255-ի, տուժել Է 1,6 հազար մարդ: Այդ մասին, հաղորդել Է Պակիստանի արտակարգ իրավիճակների վարչությունը:
«Ըստ վերջին տվյալների՝ Պակիստանում զոհվել Է 255 մարդ, եւս 1697-ը տուժել են,-ճշտել են փրկարարները:-Ավերվել կամ վնասվել Է 9209 տուն»:
Առավել մեծ վնաս Է պատճառվել Հայբեր-Փահթունհվա հյուսիսարեւմտյան նահանգին, որը սահմանակից Է Աֆղանստանի հետ: Այնտեղ տուժել Է 1918 մարդ, զոհերի թիվը հասնում Է 208-ի, ավերված կամ վնասված Է 8453 տուն:
Բուն Աֆղանստանում երկրաշարժի հետեւանքով զոհվածների թիվը հասել Է 115-ի, տուժել Է ավելի քան 530 մարդ: Եվս չորս մարդ զոհվել Է Հնդկաստանի Ջամուի եւ Քաշմիրի նահանգում:
Երկրաշարժը տեղի Է ունեցել հոկտեմբերի 26-ին Երեւանի ժամանակով ժամը 13:09-ին: ԱՄՆ-ի Երկրաբանական ծառայության տվյալներով՝ երկրաշարժի օջախը գտնվում Է 196 կիլոմետր խորության վրա՝ Հննդուկուշի լեռներում՝ Աֆղանստանի Բադախշան հյուսիսային նահանգի Ֆեյզաբադ քաղաքից 82 կիլոմետր հարավ-արեւելք ընկած շրջանում եւ Պակիստանի Հայբեր-Պահթունհվա նահանգի Չիթրալ քաղաքից 67 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա: Տարբեր ուժգնությամբ ստորգետնյա ցնցումներ են զգացվել Միջին Ասիայում եւ Հարավային Ասիայի մեծ մասում, մասնավորապես Հնդկաստանում, Տաջիկստանում եւ Նեպալում:
Եվրոպական-միջերկրածովյան սեյսմոլոգիական կենտրոնը եւ ԱՄՆ-ի Երկրաբանական ծառայությունը երկրաշարժի մագնիտուդը գնահատում են 7,5, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
