ԱՄՆ առաջին տիկին Միշել Օբաման դուստրերի՝ Սաշայի և Մալիայի հետ ժամանել է Մեծ Բրիտանիա, որտեղ ընդունելության է արժանացել ամենաբարձր մակարդակով։ Արքայազն Հարին հյուրերի համար թեյախմություն է կազմակերպել, ինչպես նաև իր ուրախությունը հայտնել նրանց այցի կապակցությամբ, գրում է ДНИ.ru-ն։

 Միշել Օբաման Մեծ Բրիտանիայում է Let Girls Learn կանանց կրթությանն աջակցող ծրագրի շրջանակում։

 Թեյախմության ընթացքում ԱՄՆ նախագահի կինն արքայազն Հարիի հետ քննարկել է ոչ միայն այդ ծրագիրը, այլ նաև այլ հարցեր, մասնավորապես՝ վետերաններին աջակցությունը։

 «Արքայազն Հարիին հետաքրքիր էր իմանալ ԱՄՆ առաջին տիկնոջից Let Girls Learn նախաձեռնության մասին, որը կապված է դեռահաս աղջիկների կրթության հետ»,- ասվում է Քենսինգթոնյան պալատի Twitter-ի պաշտոնական էջում։

 Թագավորական ընդունելությունից հետո Միշել Օբաման ուղևորվել է Լոնդոնի արևելքում գտնվող դպրոցներից մեկը՝ իր կրթական նախաձեռնությունը ներկայացնելու համար։

 Օբաման դիմել է հավաքվածներին. «Աշխարհին պետք են շատ այսպիսի աղջիկներ, ինչպիսին դուք եք, ովքեր կմեծանան և կկարողանան գլխավորել մեր խորհրդարանը և զբաղեցնել բարձր պաշտոններ, մեր դատական նիստերն ու համալսարանները։ Մեզ պետք եք դուք»։

 Առաջին տիկինը նշել է, որ կփորձի անել ամեն ինչ, որ աղջիկներն ամբողջ աշխարհում հնարավորություն ունենան իրականացնելու իրենց պոտենցիալը։
