Աբովյան քաղաքի թիվ 6 ավագ դպրոցում նոյեմբերի 17-ին անվանակոչության արարողություն էր. ուսումնական հաստատությունն այսուհետ կկրի անցյալ տարվա հուլիսյան իրադարձությունների ժամանակ զոհված ոստիկանության գնդապետ Արթուր Վանոյանի անունը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ոստիկանության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և լրատվության վարչությունից՝ հավելելով. «Հանդիսավոր արարողությանը մասնակցում էին Արթուր Վանոյանի ծնողները, ընտանիքի անդամները, տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների, մտավորականության ներկայացուցիչներ, քաղաքացիներ:
Արթուր Վանոյանի հիշատակին հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու էին եկել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ոստիկանության ղեկավարության ներկայացուցիչներ՝ ոստիկանության զորքերի հրամանատար Լևոն Երանոսյանը, ոստիկանության պետի տեղակալ Սամվել Հովհաննիսյանը, Երևան քաղաքի վարչության պետ Սարգիս Մարտիրոսյանը, պաշտոնատար այլ անձինք:
Ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության շտաբի պետ Անդրանիկ Իսկանդարյանն անդրադարձավ զինակցի կյանքին ու գործին. «Արթուր Վանոյանը հերոսաբար զոհվեց Հայրենիքի և իրավակարգի պաշտպանության՝ իրեն վստահված դիրքում: Չզիջեց, չընկրկեց, չնահանջեց, որովհետև նրան առաջնորդում էին սպայի պատիվն ու ոստիկանի կոչումը…»:
Արթուր Վանոյանն իր ողջ կյանքով հավաստեց, որ տղամարդու և սպայի համար պատիվ է կյանքը վտանգել հանուն երկրի ու ժողովրդի, հանուն հազարավոր մարդկանց, որոնք վստահում ու հավատում են քեզ, հանուն երեխաների, որոնք ճշմարիտ քաղաքացի չեն դառնա առանց այդ հավատի:
Արթուր Վանոյանը երբեք խույս չտվեց մահից՝ ո՜չ երկրի սահմանները պաշտպանելիս, ո՜չ հանցավորության դեմ պայքարում: Ու մահը նահանջում էր: Եվ թվում էր՝ միշտ է նահանջելու: Բայց, ավաղ, կատարվեց անկարելին…
Երևանի պետական համալսարանի դասախոս, բանասիրական գիտությունների թեկնածու, դոցենտ Սարգիս Մխիթարյանը ներկայացրեց համաքաղաքացու և ընկերոջ մարտական ուղին և առաքելության խորհուրդը. «Երբ սկսվեց Արցախյան շարժումը՝ լինելով ճակատի մի քանի հատվածներում՝ Լաչինի միջանցքում, Գորիսի տարածաշրջանում, որտեղ ազատագրական մարտերի մասնակից դարձավ, և Արծվաշենում, և Մարտակերտում, այդ ընթացքում նա առիթ ունեցավ շփվելու այն ժամանակ Արցախում մարտնչող ոստիկանական զորքերի հետ, և կարծում եմ, որ հենց այդտեղ էլ վճռվեց Արթուրի ճակատագիրը, և սկսած 1994 թվականից՝ նա այս համակարգում էր…»:
Եվ գործընկերների ու ընկերների խոսքից կրկին հառնում էր Արթուր Վանոյանի պայծառ կերպարը՝ մարդու, քաղաքացու, սպայի, ում համար կյանքի գործ էր հայրենիքի պաշտպանությունը, երբ վտանգված էին մեր երկրի սահմանները, ում առաքելությունը հանցավորության դեմ պայքարն ու քաղաքացու իրավունքների պաշտպանությունն էր՝ իր կյանքը վտանգելու գնով:
Անվանակոչության հանդիսավոր արարողությունն ավարտվեց ոստիկանության պատվո պահակախմբի ու զինվորական երգչախմբի ելույթներով:
Հուզիչ էր Արթուր Վանոյանի կիսանդրու բացումը դպրոցի նախասրահում, որին ծաղկեպսակներ ու ծաղիկներ խոնարհվեցին Հայաստանի ոստիկանության անունից: Մշտական ներկայություն կրթօջախի կյանքում և հիշեցում, որ կյանքը հայրենիքինն է, պատիվը՝ սպայինը, ապագան՝ երեխաներինը…
Ոչ ոք չի մոռացվում ու չի մոռացվում ոչինչ, և խորհրդանշական է, որ հենց կրթօջա՜խն է կրելու Արթուր Վանոյանի անունը, և դպրոցի սաները սերնդեսերունդ փոխանցելու են նրա կյանքի ու սխրանքի հիշողությունը՝ տանելով դեպի ապագան, որի քաղաքացիներն են»:
