Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունը դարձել է Ռոբերտ Շումանի ինստիտուտի լիիրավ անդամ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին հայտնեց ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ, Ազգային ժողովի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը: «Այդ ինստիտուտը Քրիստոնեա-դեմոկրատական և Աջակողմյան կուսակցությունների կրթական կենտրոնն է: Նաև այն Եվրոպայի ժողովրդական կուսակցության ամենախոշոր վերլուծական կենտրոններից մեկն է: Մենք այդ ինստիտուտի հետ աշխատում ենք` սկսած 2012թ.-ից և ակտիվ մասնակցել ենք նրանց կրթական և վերլուծական ծրագրերին: Տասնյակ հանրապետականներ վերապատրաստվել են նրանց կրթական ծրագրերի շրջանակներում՝ Բուդապեշտում, Ստրասբուրգում, Բրյուսելում և այլ վայրերում»,- ասաց Արմեն Աշոտյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ շատ են կարևորում լիիրավ անդամակցությունը Ռոբերտ Շումանի ինստիտուտին, քանի որ այն կուսակցության միջազգային կապերը հատկապես քաղաքական կրթության և անալիտիկայի ուղղություններով առավել ընդլայնելու լուրջ հնարավորություններ է տալիս:

ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահն ընդգծեց, որ ինստիտուտին լիիրավ անդամակցության պարագայում ակնկալում են ավելի սերտ համագործակցություն, համատեղ սեմինարներ և կուրսերի անցկացում: «Հատկապես ցանկանում եմ շեշտել, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունը, լինելով Հայաստանում քաղաքական դպրոց հիմնած առաջին քաղաքական ուժը, որը կրում է Անդրանիկ Մարգարյանի անունը, շատ է կարևորում քաղաքական կրթության և վերլուծական կարողությունների դերը քաղաքականության մեջ, հետևաբար կփորձի լրացուցիչ համագործակցության օրակարգ ստեղծել»,- ընդգծեց Արմեն Աշոտյանը:

Ռոբերտ Շումանի ինստիտուտի կենտրոնը տեղակայված է Բուդապեշտում, բայց այն համաեվրոպական կառույց է:

Ինչպես վկայում է քաղաքական ուժի պաշտոնական կայքը, Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունն իր գործունեության ընթացքում աստիճանաբար ակտիվացրել է իր կապերը արտերկրի քաղաքական ուժերի եւ քաղաքական միավորումների հետ: Մասնավորապես` համագործակցային կապեր են ձևավորվել Չինաստանի Կոմունիստական կուսակցության և Միացյալ Ռուսաստան կուսակցության հետ: Տարբեր տարիներին կուսակցական կառույցների միջև կազմակերպվել և անց են կացվել կուսակցական համատեղ միջոցառումներ: Միջկուսակցական միջազգային համագործակցություն է իրականացվում նաև միջխորհրդարանական հարթակներում, որտեղ վերջին տարիներին Հանրապետականը արդյունավետ համագործակցություն է ծավալել նաև Եվրոպայի Ժողովրդական Կուսակցության հետ: ԵԺԿ-ն, որպես Եվրոպական տարածքի ազդեցիկ քաղաքական միավորում, իր տասնյակ կուսակցությունների երկկողմ և բազմակողմ համագործակցության ձևաչափերն է իրականացնում ԵԺԿ-ին անդամագրված լիիրավ և դիտորդ անդամ կուսակցությունների հետ: 2012թ. փետրվար 9-ին տեղի ունեցավ ԵԺԿ քաղաքական ասամբլեայի նիստը, որտեղ պաշտոնապես  ՀՀԿ-ն ընդունվեց ԵԺԿ կազմում` ստանալով դիտորդ-անդամ կուսակցության կարգավիճակ:
