Երևանի և Մարսելի միջև ստորագրված բարեկամության և համագործակցության համաձայնագրի 25-ամյակի առթիվ պաշտոնական այցով Մարսելում գտնվող Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է գործընկերոջ՝ Մարսելի քաղաքապետ Ժան-Կլոդ Գոդենի հետ: Ողջունելով Երևանի քաղաքապետին և պատվիրակության անդամներին` Ժան-Կլոդ Գոդենը նախ շնորհավորել է երկու քաղաքների բարեկամության և համագործակցության 25-ամյակի առթիվ ու շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հրավերն ընդունելու և Մարսել այցելելու համար՝ ընդգծելով, որ սա երկու քաղաքների միջև առկա սերտ համագործակցության և փոխադարձ խորը հարգանքի ևս մեկ ապացույց է:

«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, համոզված եղեք, որ մենք շարունակելու ենք անել ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի մեր քաղաքների միջև ձևավորված բարեկամությունն ու համագործակցությունն էլ ավելի ամրապնդենք, ավելացնենք համագործակցության շրջանակում գրանցվող հաջողությունները, ինչով կշարունակենք մեր նպաստը բերել երկու ժողովուրդների բարեկամության ամրապնդմանը», - նշել է Ժան-Կլոդ Գոդենը:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով պաշտոնական հրավերի և ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն իր հերթին վստահեցրել է, որ Մարսելն իսկապես հարազատ քաղաք է Երևանի համար, ու փոխադարձաբար շնորհավորել է գործընկերոջը՝ երկու քաղաքների բարեկամության և համագործակցության 25-ամյա հոբելյանի առթիվ՝ ընդգծելով, որ Երևանը մեծ կարևորություն է տալիս ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ եվրոպական ծրագրերի շրջանակում երկու քաղաքների համագործակցությանը:
«Անհերքելի փաստ է, պարոն քաղաքապետ, որ երկու քաղաքների միջև համագործակցությունը զարգանում և ընդլայնվում է: Եվ ողջունելի է, որ մենք հետզհետե ավելի մեծ ուշադրություն ենք դարձնում նաև համագործակցության տնտեսական բաղադրիչին, ու ես վստահ եմ, որ ներդրումային և այլ ծրագրերի իրականացմանն ուղղված մեր ջանքերը կբերեն ցանկալի արդյունքի», - նշել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը՝ հավելելով, որ երկուստեք առկա է մեծ ներուժ կրթության, զբոսաշրջության, քաղաքային տնտեսության կառավարման ժամանակակից ձևերի ներդրման և այլ բնագավառներում ևս համագործակցությունն ընդլայնելու համար:
«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, 2018 թվականը մեզ համար կարևոր ու նշանակալի տարի է լինելու: Հաջորդ տարի մենք նշելու ենք Երևանի հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակը, և օգտվելով առիթից` սիրով հրավիրում եմ Ձեզ կրկին այցելել մեր հինավուրց, բայց և միշտ երիտասարդ մայրաքաղաք ու դառնալ Երևանի հիմնադրման հոբելյանական տարվա միջոցառումների մասնակիցը», - ընդգծել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը՝ վստահեցնելով, որ Ժան-Կլոդ Գոդենը միշտ սպասված և ցանկալի հյուր է Երևանում:
