Հայաստանն Իրանի համար վստահելի գործընկեր է: «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում իրանագետ Վարդան Ոսկանյանը նշեց, որ երկկողմ համագործակցությունն ակտիվացնելու քայլերը պատահական չեն: 

«Հավաստիացնում եմ, որ իրանցիները խոշոր երկրների հետ աշխատանքում որպես կապող օղակ կընտրեն Հայաստանին, որովհետև մեր երկրի նկատմամբ կա վստահություն: Հայաստանը կարող է «ապահովագրական» երկիր լինել Իրան-ԵՄ, Իրան-ԵԱՏՄ հարաբերություններում: Մեզ ձեռնտու կլիներ այդ կապող օղակի դերակատարությունը»,-ասաց Վարդան Ոսկանյանը:

Անդրադառնալով Իրանի արտգործնախարարի Հայաստան կատարած այցին` Վարդան Ոսկանյանը մի քանի կարևոր շեշտադրում առանձնացրեց: Նախ` այն, որ իրանցիներին հետաքրքրում է առաջին աղբյուրից տեղեկատվություն ստանալ Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն հարաբերությունների վերջին զարգացումներից: Ըստ Վարդան Ոսկանյանի Իրանի արտգործնախարարի այցն ակնհայտորեն միտված էր նաև սրան:

«Մյուս կարևոր հանգամանքն այն է, որ Իրանին հետաքրքիր է Հայաստանի անդամակցությունը ԵԱՏՄ-ին: Իրանը ձգտում է իր ներկայությունն ապահովել ԵԱՏՄ-ում` օգտվելով Հայաստանի հնարավորություններից: Արդեն իսկ խոսք գնաց Մեղրիի տարածաշրջանում ստեղծվելիք, առաջիկա շաբաթներին գործարկվելիք ազատ տնտեսական գոտու մասին: Համագործակցության մյուսը հարթակը էներգետիկ ոլորտն է: Այստեղ կա չափազանց լավ համագործակցություն, բայց այն էլ ավելի զարգացնելու հսկայական պոտենցիալ ունի: Խոսքը վերաբերում է գազն էլեկտրաէներգիայի դիմաց ներկայիս գործարքի ծավալների ավելացման մասին»,-ավելացրեց Վարդան Ոսկանյանը:

Հայաստան-Իրան ակտիվ համագործակցություն կա զբոսաշրջության ոլորտում: Բանկային համակարգը նույնպես հետաքրքրում է իրանցիներին: Իրանագետը նշեց, որ իրանցիներն ունեն խնդիրներ արտասահմանում գտնվող գումարների հետ, մեծ ցանկություն ունեն դրանք վստահելի երկիր տեղափոխել: Հայաստանն, ըստ նրա, ունի զարգացած բանկային համակարգ, մի փոքր ակտիվությունը կարող է արդյունք բերել այս հարթությունում:

Իրանագետը նշեց, որ Իրանի արտգործնախարարի այցի մյուս կարևոր շեշտադրումը կապված է ղարաբաղյան հարցի հետ:

«Իրանը հետաքրքրված է արցախյան հիմնահարցով: Իրանն այն բացառիկ երկրներից է, որը սահմանակից է հակամարտության բոլոր կողմերի հետ: Հատկանշական է Իրանի արտգործնախարարի քաղաքական հայտարարությունն այն մասին, որ տարածաշրջանում Հայաստանը ջանում է խնդիրը լուծել խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Ադրբեջանական կողմը նման հայտարարությունը գնահատում է որպես անուղղակի ակնարկ, առ այն, որ իրավիճակն ապակայունացնողն Ադրբեջանն է: Կարծում եմ, որ դրա մեջ որոշակի ճշմարտության հատիկ կա»,-հավելեց Վարդան Ոսկանյանը:

Արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի հրավերով նոյեմբերի 28-ին Հայաստան այցելեց Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարՄոհամմադ Ջավադ Զարիֆը։ Իրանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարին ընդունեց Հանրապետության Նախագահը։ Մոհամմադ Ջավադ Զարիֆը հանդիպեցՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանին: Նույն օրը Հայաստանի և Իրանի արտգործնախարարներն անցկացրեցին բանակցություններ, որոնց արդյունքում նախարարներըհանդես եկան մամուլի ասուլիսով: Հայաստանի և Իրանի արտգործնախարարները մասնակցեցին նաև հայ-իրանական բիզնես ֆորումի բացման արարողությանը:
