Նարեկ Գալստյանը իր Ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրում է.
Սիրիայում մինչև պատերազմն ապրում էր շուրջ 100 000 հայ: Սիրիան մշտապես համարվել է Հայաստանի և հայության բարեկամ երկիրը, որը ծանր 90-ականներին ամեն կերպ աջակցում էր մեր երկրին՝ Արցախյան հակամարտության ժամանակ: Ու՞մ համար է գաղտնիք, որ Սիրիայի նախկին նախագահ Հաֆըզ ալ Ասադը առիթ բաց չէր թողնում Հայաստանին ինչ-որ բանով օգնելու համար: Թե մենք մոռացել ենք, որ Սիրիայից Հայաստան էր գալիս հաց, սիրիական սահմանապահները աչք էին փակում, երբ Հայաստան էին տեղափոխվում հացից շաաատ ավելի վտանգավոր իրեր մեր թշնամիների համար:
Հիմա Սիրիայում պատերազմ է, բայց այնտեղ շարունակում են ապրել մեր հազարավոր հայրենակիցները: Ու ես ապշում եմ, որ Հայաստանի և ոչ մի լրատվամիջոց այսքան ժամանակ չի ուղարկել ռազմական թղթակից Սիրիա՝ լուսաբանելու հայ համայնքի կյանքը: Իհարկե, հեշտ է հեռախոսով կապվել որևիցե տեղացու հետ և հարցազրույց վերցնել, բայց պրոֆեսիոնալը, ճիշտը այնտեղ գտնվելն է թեկուզ մի քանի օր, տեղում նկարելը, խոսելը մեր հայրենակիցների հետ, գրագետ և հավասարակաշռված նյութեր պատրաստելը: Դա չկա, շատ ավելի հեշտ է տեղադրել Քիմ Քարդաշյանի որևիցե բարեմասնություն կամ <<Շոկ>> հնարավորինս զզվելի վերնագրով լայքեր փախցնել: Ու՞ր են մեր առաջատար լրատվամիջոցները, կայքերը, հեռուստաընկերությունները: Ինչու՞ չեն լուսաբանում տեղում, ինչպես անում են արևմտյան կամ ռուսական պրոֆեսիոնալները: Միայն չասեք, թե փող չկա, անգլերեն լավ բառ կա` come on :))
