Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի և Վերակառուցման և զարգացման եվրոպական բանկի հետ համատեղ իրականացվող ծրագրերի ընթացքի հետ կապված հարցեր են քննարկվել քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի և ՎԶԵԲ-ի փոխնախագահ Ալան Պիյուի գլխավորած պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ: 

Ողջունելով հյուրերին` քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նախ շնորհավորել է հանդիպմանը ներկա Դիմիտրի Գվինդաձեին՝ ՀՀ-ում ՎԶԵԲ ղեկավարի պաշտոնը ստանձնելու առթիվ, և համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ նորանշանակ ղեկավարն իր հերթին կնպաստի Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի և Վերակառուցման և զարգացման եվրոպական բանկի միջև հաստատված համագործակցության ընդլայնմանը:
Անդրադառնալով ՎԶԵԲ-ի հետ համագործակցությանը` քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նկատել է, որ իրականացվող համատեղ ծրագրերն իսկապես կարևոր են Երևան քաղաքի ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման համար: 
«Քաղաքային տնտեսության տարբեր ոլորտներում Վերակառուցման և զարգացման եվրոպական բանկի հետ մենք ունենք իսկապես արդյունավետ համագործակցություն, ինչի շրջանակում էլ հաջողությամբ կյանքի են կոչվում բոլոր այն ծրագրերը, որոնք նախանշվում են: Վստահ եմ, որ իրականացված և ընթացքում գտնվող ծրագրերի հաջող ընթացքն ու արդյունավետությունը հիմք կհանդիսանան, որ առաջիկա տարիներին ընդլայնենք համագործակցության շրջանակներն ու ընդգրկենք նոր ուղղություններ», - նշել է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը և, ներկայացնելով քաղաքային տնտեսության կառավարման հարցում իր մոտեցումները, նախանշել է նաև Երևան քաղաքի համար առաջնահերթ լուծումներ պահանջող մյուս խնդիրները, որոնց լուծման շուրջ ևս կարող են իրականացվել համատեղ ծրագրեր: 
Իր հերթին կարևորելով Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի հետ համագործակցությունը՝ ՎԶԵԲ-ի փոխնախագահ Ալան Պիյուն նկատել է, որ Երևան քաղաքն իսկապես վստահելի ու կարևոր գործընկեր է բանկի համար, և վստահեցրել է, որ իրենք պատրաստ են ընդլայնել համագործակցության շրջանակները՝ ընդգրկելով նոր ոլորտներ: 
«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, նախ ուզում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել անձամբ Ձեզ՝ երկուստեք համագործակցության ամրապնդման և արդյունավետության հարցում ներդրած ջանքերի համար: Համոզված եղեք, որ Երևանը մեզ համար իսկապես վստահելի և շատ կարևոր գործընկեր է, ու մենք պատրաստակամ ենք շարունակելու համագործակցությունը քաղաքային տնտեսության այլ ուղղություններով ևս: Վստահեցնում եմ, որ իմ հերթին կանեմ հնարավորը, որպեսզի ավելի շատ համատեղ ծրագրեր կարողանանք կյանքի կոչել», - նշել է Ալան Պիյուն:
Հանդիպման ավարտին քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը ՎԶԵԲ-ի փոխնախագահին հրավիրել է հաջորդ տարի կրկին այցելել Երևան՝ մասնակցելու Երևանի հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակին նվիրված հոբելյանական միջոցառումներին, ինչը սիրով ընդունվել է Ալան Պիյուի կողմից:
