Հայաստանը Եվրոպական Միությունից ակնկալում է «ավելին ավելիի դիմաց» սկզբունքի լիակատար իրագործում: Ազգային ժողովում «Հայաստան-ԵՄ համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերություն» թեմայով խորհրդարանական լսումների ժամանակ ամփոփիչ ելույթում նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտականհանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը: «Խոսքը միայն տնտեսական հետևանքների մասին չէ: Մենք Եվրամիությունը որպես փող տվող բանկոմատ չենք ընկալում, թեև ֆինանսատնտեսական աջակցությունը շատ կարևոր բաղկացուցիչ է, բայց մենք խորհրդարանում ակնկալում ենք «ավելին ավելիի դիմաց» քաղաքականության կիրառում նաև քաղաքական ասպարեզում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` ընդգծեց Աշոտյանը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայաստանին, իհարկե, գոհացնում է արցախյան հակամարտության կարգավորման հետ կապված ձևակերպումը, որն ամրագրվել է ստորագրված համաձայնագրում: «Հակամարտության կարգավորման հետ կապվածձևակերպումը Եվրամիության հետ ունեցած իրավապայմանագրային բազայիկարևոր մասն է: Սա կարևոր ձեռքբերում էր մեզ համար, որ, ի տարբերությունայլ քաղաքական իրադարձությունների, եվրոպական հանրությունը չփորձեցմիևնույն նժարի վրա դնել Ադրբեջանին ու Հայաստանին, ու չսպասեցրեցՀայաստանին, ինչ է թե մեր հարևանները նույնպես փորձում են իրենց հետ ինչ-որ բան բանակցել ու ստորագրել», - նշեց նա:
Աշոտյանը, խոսելով պայմանագրի իրագործման մասին, ընդգծեց, որ ոչ ոք չի պնդում, թե պայմանագիրը կախարդական է, ու բնական է, որ դրա կյանքի կոչման համար միահամուռ և համատեղ աշխատանք է պահանջվելու: «Աշխատանք է պահանջվելու օրենսդիր և գործադիր մարմինների, իշխանություն-ընդդիմություն, կառավարություն-հասարակություն ձևաչափերով: Բնական է, որ այս ճանապարհին խոչընդոտներ լինելու են, բայց ուզում եմ հավաստիացնելքաղաքացիական հասարակության ներկայացուցիչներին, որ իրենց մասնակցությունն այդ աշխատանքներին շատ կարևոր է», -նշեց նա:
