 Թուրքագետ Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանիդիտարկմամբ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության կողմից Սիրիայում իրականացվող ռազմական օպերացիան մի շարք ուշագրավ բացահայտումներ ի հայտ բերեց: «Սիրիայում իրականացվող Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության ռազմական օպերացիան միանշանակ հաջողված է, և «Իսլ ամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման գրոհայիններին ռուսական ավիահարվածներից փրկելու համար Սիրիայից Թուրքիայի ինքնաթիռներով տեղափոխելու գործընթացը դրա վառ ապացույցն է: Բացի այդ` ՌԴ պատժիչ գործողությունները բոլորի համար ակնհայտ շատ ուշագրավ բացահայտումներ արեցին, որոնք ցույց տվեցին, թե իրականում որ պետություններն են աջակցում իսլամիստներին և հոգում նրանց անվտանգության մասին»,-նշեց նա` հավելելով, որ իսլամիստներին իրենց մոտ ընդունող Եմենը և Սաուդյան Արաբիան պատահական ընտրված չեն: «Նրանց քայլերն ապացուցեցին, որ «սպիտակ թելով» է կարկատած այդ երկրների կողմից իրականացվող կեղծ ժողովրդավարական փուչիկը»,-նկատեց բանախոսը:

Անդրադառնալով արևմտյան և հատկապես թուրքական ԶԼՄ-երի այն քննադատություններին, թե Ռուսաստանը օդային հարվածներ է հասցնում նաև Բաշար ալ Ասադի քաղաքական ընդդիմախոսների` Սիրիայի չափավոր ընդդիմությանը` թուրքագետը պատասխանեց հետևյալը. «Մենք պետք է նախևառաջ սահմանենք այն չափորոշիչները, որոնցով կտարբերենք Սիրիայում չափավոր ընդդիմությանը և ծայրահեղ իսլամիստներին. այդ սահմանումները մինչ օրս ոչ ոք չի տվել, և Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը շատ հռետորական հարց էր ներկայացրել. «Ցույց տվեք, թե ովքեր են չափավոր ընդդիմադիրնÕ �րը, և մենք օդային հարվածներ չենք իրականացնի նրանց ուղղությամբ»:  Իրականում այդ երկու խմբավորումները սերտաճած են, և տարբեր լուսանկարներում կամ տեսանյութերում մարդկանց գլխատելով կամ ուտելով զբաղված անձիք, Թուրքիայում, իբրև Սիրիայի չափավոր ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչներ, շատ հանգիստ մասնակցում են տարբեր գիտաժողովների և կոնֆերանսների»:

«Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման գրոհայիններին ռուսական ավիահարվածներից փրկելու համար Սիրիայից տեղափոխում են Թուրքիայիինքնաթիռներով, այդ մասին հեկտեմբերի 27-ին հայտարարել էր Սիրիայի զինված ուժերի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ, գեներալ Ալի Մայհուբը: «Համաձայնհետախուզության, հոկտեմբերի< i> 26-ին Թուրքիայից Եմենի Ադեն քաղաքի օդանավակայան են ժամանել 4 ինքնաթիռներ: Դրանցից 4-ը պատկանում են թուրքականավիաընկերությունների, մեկը` քաթարական, մյուսը` Սաուդյան Արաբիայի ավիաընկերությանը»,- ասել էր Սիրիայի ԶՈՒ ներկայացուցիչը:
