Առողջապահության խնդիրներից մեկը յոդի հագեցվածության հիմնահարցն է

Վերջերս մեծ գիտահետազոտական կոնֆերանս տեղի ունեցավ՝ նվիրված Հայաստանի Հանրապետության առողջապահության կարևորագույնխնդիրներից մեկին՝ յոդի հագեցվածության հիմնահարցին: Կոնֆերանսի շրջանակերում քննարկվեց ՀՀ-ում անցկացված լայնածավալ հետազոտության արդյունքները, որի նպատակն է եղել պարզել արդյոք վահանագեղձի հաճախակի հանդիպող հիվանդությունները կապված են յոդի անբավարաության հետ թե ոչ :
Հետազոտվել են 13 տարբեր համայնքներից հավաքված աղի և մեզի նմուշները: Եզրահանգումը հետևյալն էր՝ Հայաստանում չկա յոդի անբավարարություն , և 2004թ.-ից ներդրված Հայաստանի համընդհանուր աղի յոդացման ծրագիրը հաջողված է և բնակչությանն ապահովում է յոդի համապատասխան քանակով, թե դպրոցական տարիքի երեխաները, և թե հղի կանայք ստանում են բավական յոդ իրենց սննդամթերքից: Կոնֆերանսի ընթացքում քննարկվեցին նաև վահանաձև գեղձի մի շարք հիվանդություններ, տրվեցին նոր ուղեցույցներ կապված նաև հղիության ընթացքում վահանագեղձի հիվանդությունների ճիշտ վարմանվերաբերյալ:
