Ինչո՞ւ է Հռոմի Պապն ուզում խմբագրել Աստծուն

– Մաքսիմ, Հռոմի պապը վերջերս հայտարարել էր, որ հարկավոր է այլ կերպ կարդալ Տերունական աղոթքի՝ «Հայր Մերի» հետևյալ տողը՝ «Եվ մի տանիր ըզմեզ ի փորձություն»՝ ասելով, որ այն ժամանակին սխալ է թարգմանվել արամեերենից: Կաթոլիկ աշխարհի հովվապետի այս քայլն ինչպե՞ս եք մեկնաբանում:
– Հռոմի պապը երբեմն–երբեմն Սուրբ Գրքից դուրս ճշմարտանման օտար բաներ ասելով՝ նուրբ որոգայթներ կամ գայթումներ է դնում, որոնցով քրիստոնյաներիս ստիպում է զգուշանալ իրենից:
Այս անգամ էլ նա առաջարկում է, որ «Հայր Մերի» մեջ այսպես ասվի. «թույլ մի տուր մեզ փորձությունը»: Կամ դրա նման մի բան:
Սակայն բանն այն է, որ մարդու ցանկականը, այսպես թե այնպես, տանում է փորձության: Երբ աղերսում ենք, թե՝ մի՛ տար փորձության, այդպես մեր անզոր, մեր մեղավոր լինելն ենք հիշատակում: Իսկ երբ ասում ենք «թույլ մի տուր», ապա ստացվում է, թե Աստված հանիրավի է թույլ տալիս փորձությունը: Որով էլ կեղծ արդար ենք դառնում:
Սակայն ճշմարտությունն այն է, որ մենք մեր ցանկությանը հետևելու մեղավորության պատճառով էինք հայտնվել փորձության մեջ:
