POLITICS«Ժամանակ» օրաթերթը գրում է
«ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան ընդունել է բանաձև, որով կոչ է արել ԱՄՆ-ին հետ կանգնել Երուսաղեմն Իսրայելի մայրաքաղաք ճանաչելու իր որոշումից: Բանաձևին կողմ է քվեարկել 128 երկիր, այդ թվում` Հայաստանը, ձեռնպահ՝ 35-ը, իսկ դեմ է եղել ինը երկիր՝ ԱՄՆ-ն, Իսրայելը, Գվատեմալան, Հոնդուրասը, Մարշալյան կղզիները, Միկրոնեզիան, Նաուրուն, Պալաուն և Տոգոն:
Եմենի և Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցիչների պատրաստած բանաձևի տեքստում նշվում է, որ Երուսաղեմի վերջնական կարգավիճակը պետք է որոշվի բանակցությունների արդյունքում և կոչ է արվում բոլոր պետություններին չտեղակայել իրենց դեսպանատները Սուրբ քաղաքում:
Այս բանաձևին Հայաստանի «կողմ» քվեարկությունը կանխատեսելի էր մի քանի պատճառով: Նախ` պարզ էր, որ ԱՄՆ-ը ցանկացած պարագայում հայտնվելու է փոքրամասնության մեջ, և Հայաստանը, ըստ ամենայնի, գերադասել է համերաշխ գտնվել միջազգային հանրության հետ:
Բացի այդ, գոյություն ունի Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու Երուսաղեմի պատրիարքությանը պատկանող կալվածքների պաշտպանության հարցը ու, չնայած Իսրայելի հրապարակային հավաստիացումներին, եկեղեցին պնդում է, որ իրեն ավելի ապահով է զգում Պաղեստինի իշխանության ներքո:
Պակաս կարևոր չէր այն հանգամանքը, որ Երուսաղեմն Իսրայելի մայրաքաղաք ճանաչելով` Թրամփը ստեղծել է հակամարտությունների կարգավորման նախադեպ` հիմնված գոյություն ունեցող փաստերի վրա: Այս նախադեպը կարող էր դրական հեռանկարներ բացել նաև ԼՂ խնդրի կարգավորման համար: Այնուամենայնիվ, Հայաստանը որոշել է կողմ քվեարկել բանաձևի, որով կոչ է արվել ԱՄՆ-ին՝ հետ կանգնել Երուսաղեմն Իսրայելի մայրաքաղաք ճանաչելու իր որոշումից»,-գրում է թերթը:
