Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Վահե Նիկոյանը հանդիպել է «Ֆիլիպս» (Phillips) ընկերության ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Հանդիպմանը ներկա էին Phillips Lighting-ի փոխնախագահ Էրիկ Բենեդետին, Philips Lighting-ի Կենտրոնական Ասիայի և Կովկասյան երկրների տնօրեն Անդրեյ Զախարկիվը, Հայաստանում Philips Lighting-ի պաշտոնական գործընկեր «Կոնսէլ» ընկերության հիմնադիր-տնօրեն Արման Փափազյանը և կոմերցիոն բաժնի ղեկավար Անժելա Դավթյանը:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Վահե Նիկոյանը ներկայացրել է Երևանի զարգացման ծրագրերով մայրաքաղաքում ներդրումային քաղաքականության հիմնական ուղղություններն ու այդ համատեքստում առանձնացրել քաղաքային լուսավորության և էներգախնայողության ծրագրերը: 
«Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը «Քաղաքային կանաչ լուսավորություն» ծրագրով վերջին տարիներին մայրաքաղաքի արտաքին լուսավորության ցանցի արդիականացման արդյունքում ապահովել է ավելի քան 67% էներգախնայողություն, ինչն իր հերթին հնարավորություն է տալիս տարեցտարի ընդլայնելու ծրագիրը: Էներգետիկ արդյունավետության բարձրացմանն ուղղված աշխատանքներ են տարվում նաև բազմաբնակարան շենքերում, նաև համայնքային ենթակայության շենքերում ու մասնավորապես՝ մանկապարտեզներում: Մեր կողմից նույն մոտեցումն է ցուցաբերվում նաև ճանապարհաշինական ծրագրերում՝ լուսավորությունն իրականացնելով էներգախնայող լուսատուներով: Առաջիկայում նախատեսվում է փոխարինել նաև Երևանի 28 փողոցների լուսավորության համակարգերը: Այս ոլորտում մեր անելիքներն ամրագրված են նաև մայրաքաղաքի զարգացման 5-ամյա ծրագրում»,- ընդգծել է Վահե Նիկոյանը՝ պատրաստակամություն հայտնելով դիտարկել Philips Lighting ընկերության հետ հնարավոր համագործակցության ուղղությունները: 
Philips Lighting-ի փոխնախագահ, Ռուսաստանում, Ուկրաինայում, Բելառուսում, Կենտրոնական Ասիայի և Կովկասյան երկրներում Philips Lighting-ի ղեկավար Էրիկ Բենեդետը, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով հանդիպման և համագործակցության պատրաստակամության համար, նշել է, որ ընկերությունը հետաքրքրված է Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի հետ փոխգործակցությամբ և պատրաստ խորհրդատվական աջակցություն տրամադրելու արտաքին լուսավորության ծառայությունների կազմակերպման հարցում: Հանդիպման ընթացքում հյուրերը ներկայացրել են արտաքին լուսավորության խելացի կառավարման համակարգերը և դրանց կիրառման առավելությունները:
Կողմերը քննարկել են նաև հասարակական նշանակության օբյեկտների, այդ թվում մանկապարտեզների, դպրոցների, ինչպես նաև բուժհաստատությունների լուսավորման համակարգերի թարմացման ու արդիականացման ծրագրի մշակման և ներդրման հնարավորությունները:
