ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ցանկացած այց տարածաշրջան հնարավորություն է, որպեսզի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության բանակցային գործընթացը շարունակվի: Միևնույն ժամանակ, համանախագահների ցանկացած հավասարության նշան դնող հայտարարություն չի կարող նպաստել հակամարտության խաղաղության ամրապնդմանը: Այս մասին ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:
«Թե Հայաստանը, եւ թե Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունը մշտապես եղել են բացառապես խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման կողմնակից: Թե նախկինում, թե այսօր բանակցային գործընթացում խոչընդոտները եղել են ոչ հայկական, ոչ էլ արցախյան կողմից: Գործընթացում խոչընդոտներ ստեղծողը մշտապես եղել է ադրբեջանական կողմը: Հենց ադրբեջանական կողմի դիրքորոշումից է կախված, թե ինչ ընթացք կստանան ապագա բանակցությունները»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Շարմազանովը՝ անդրադառնալով ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների՝ տարածաշրջան կատարած վերջին այցին:
ԱԺ փոխնախագահը հիշեցրեց, որ համանախագահները խոսել են նաև Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպման անհրաժեշտության մասին՝ հավելելով, որ հայկական կողմը բոլոր հանդիպումների ընթացքում հանդես է եկել հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման օգտին: «Եթե ադրբեջանական կողմը պատրաստ է բանակցությունների շարունակմանը, մենք խնդիր չենք տեսնում, մենք բանակցությունների և խաղաղ կարգավորման ջատագովն ենք: Պարզապես համանախագահներն էլ պետք է մի բան հստակեցնեն, որ ցանկացած հավասարության նշան դնող հայտարարություն չի օժանդակում խաղաղության ամրապնդմանը: Մենք գիտակցում ենք, որ կա քաղաքական, դիվանագիտական բառապաշար, սակայն եթե մի կողմի վրա կանոնները չեն խախտվում, իսկ Ադրբեջանը պարբերաբար խախտում է և չի հնչում խախտողի անունը, վտանգ կա, որ այդ խախտող կողմը կշարունակի իր ապակառուցողական քաղաքականությունը»,- եզրափակեց Շարմազանովը:
