Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.
«Վերջերս շփվում էի արվեստի մի գործչի հետ։ Այդ մարդուն ստեղծագործական և մարդկային առումով համակրում եմ։ Բայց երբ նա սկսեց հիացական տոնով խոսել իր սեփական գործերի մասին, մեջս կասկածներ առաջացան այդ արվեստագետի մտավոր ունակությունների վերաբերյալ: Ինձ թվամ է՝ ոչ մի խելացի մարդ չի ասի իր մասին՝ «ես նշանավոր անձնավորություն եմ», «ես ազգային գործիչ եմ», «իմ գրածը գլուխգործոց Է»։
Սեփական անձին առանց հումորի վերաբերվելը ես ընկալում եմ որպես ինտելեկտի պակաս։ Նման արվեստագետները հիշեցնում են ինձ այն քաղաքական գործիչներին, որոնք իրենց մասին խոսում են երրորդ դեմքով մոտավորապես հետևյալ ձևակերպումներով. «Գվիդոն Մեծարյանը (փոխանակ ասի՝ «ես») այն ազգային գործիչներից Է, որին ժողովուրդը լավ գիտի և պիտի երախտապարտ լինի նրա (չի ասում՝ «իմ») բազում ազգանպաստ ծառայությունների համար»։ Երբ մարդիկ իրենց պատկերացնում են որպես մի կենդանի արձան, որի մասին պետք Է խոսել գրեթե մահախոսականի ոճով, նրանք չեն ենթադրում, որ կողքից այդ մոտեցումը բավականին զավեշտալի է դիտվում։
