Նախագահի թեկնածուի ինտրիգը

Մտավորականների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հնչեցրեց ապագա նախագահի չափանիշների մասին իր պատկերացումները: Թե ինչու է Սերժ Սարգսյանը նման չափանիշներ հնչեցնում, անհասկանալի է, որովհետև դե յուրե նա այդ ժամանակ արդեն նախագահական լիազորությունները վայր է դնելու ու չի կարող ազդել նախագահ ընտրության վրա: Մյուս կողմից դե ֆակտո նա ունի բավարար իշխանություն ՀՀԿ ներսում և կարող է նախագահի ընտրության վրա ազդել, առանց դրա մասին հայտարարելու:
Այն, որ Սարգսյանը կարող էր չհայտարարել, բայց հայտարարել է, ունի որոշակի նյուանս: Սրանով Սարգսյանը շարունակում է Բաղրամյան 26-ում վերջին շրջանում նկատվող քաղաքական թատերաելույթների շարքն ու ուժ դրսևորում ներքաղաքական կյանքում:
Կա նաև հարցի մյուս կողմը: Սարգսյանը փորձում է նախագահի կերպարը կերտել ոչ միայն կուլիսային լծակներով, այլև դրա համար օգտագործելով որոշակի հանրային ռեսուրս: Այս դեպքում հանրային ռեսուրսը Սարգսյանի համար պալատական մտավորականներն են, որոնք չնայած որևէ կապ չունեն հասարակական գործընթացների հետ ու անհասկանալիորեն կրելով սովետական մտավորականի տրվող տիտղոսը պիտի ապահովեն ապագա նախագահի կերպարի հանդեպ հանրային լեգիտիմությունը:
Սարգսյանի չափանիշները ցույց են տալիս, որ նախագահի դերում մենք ունենանալու ենք անդեմ մեկին, ով ընդամենը պետք է հայկական աշխարհում համընդհանուր սիրո օբյեկտ լինի, ոչ ավելին: Այսինքն բավարար չէ, որ նախագահը նոր համակարգում որևէ լծակ չի ունենալու, նա նաև որևէ սիմվոլիկ կշիռ չի ունենալու, որովհետև ոչ թե մարմնավորելու է Հայաստանը ՝ վերքաղաքական մակարդակում, այլ լինելու է Հայաստան-Սփյուռք հարաբերությունների սիրելին:
