ԵՄ-ն Հայաստանին ազատ վիզային ռեժիմ կտրամադրի՞

ԵՄ-ն Հայաստանին պետք է տրամադրի ազատ վիզային ռեժիմ, ինչը երկարաժամկետ գործընթաց է, սակայն Հայաստանի քաղաքացուն հնարավորություն կտա մոտիկից ճանաչել Եվրոպան եւ այդ արժեքային համակարգը։ «168 ժամ»-ի հետ զրույցում նշել է  Արեւելյան Եվրոպայի հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի (Վիլնյուս) ներկայացուցիչ, լիտվացի քաղաքագետ Լաուրինաս Կաշչյունասը՝ անդրադառնալով ՀՀ-ԵՄ այս տարեվերջից սկսվող բանակցություններին։

Նրա խոսքով՝ սա կօգնի քաղաքացուն, հետեւաբար՝ նաեւ իշխանությանը՝ ճիշտ որոշում կայացնել։ «Շարժունակությունը չափազանց կարեւոր գործիք է, շատ դեպքերում՝ որոշիչ երկրների համար։ ԵՄ-ն այսօր բազում խնդիրների, այդ թվում՝ ներգաղթյալների ճգնաժամի հետեւանքով՝ երկարաձգում է Ուկրաինային եւ Վրաստանին ազատ վիզային ռեժիմի շնորհումը, սակայն դա վաղ թե ուշ տեղի է ունենալու։ Հայաստանին եւս կտրվի նման հնարավորություն՝ իշխանությունների ցանկության դեպքում»,- ասաց Կաշչյունասը՝ հավելելով, որ ԵՄ-ի պահանջները, համապատասխան բարեփոխումներն իրականացնելու դեպքում, Հայաստանը կարող է ավելիին հավակնել ԵՄ-ի հետ հարաբերություններում։

Անդրադառնալով ԵՄ Արեւելյան հարեւանության գոտում առկա անվտանգության խնդիրներին՝ նա ասաց, որ այդ հարցերում ԵՄ-ն ավելի համարձակ դիրքորոշում պետք է ունենա։ «Սակայն էլի պետք է խոսեմ կարծիքների բախման մասին։ ԵՄ-ն կարող է աջակցել խաղաղության ձեւավորմանը ԼՂ հակամարտության գոտում, եւ, կարծում եմ՝ դա պետք է անի՝ քիչ-քիչ բարեփոխելով հակամարտության մեջ գտնվող երկրներին։ Սա է, կարծում եմ՝ լուծումը, բայց մոտ ապագայում, ըստ իս, ԵՄ-ն կենտրոնացած է լինելու ոչ թե՝ ԱլԳ խնդիրները լուծելու, այլ՝ իր խնդիրները լուծելու վրա։ Կարծում եմ, որ ԱլԳ ապագան վտանգի տակ չէ, քանի որ ԵՄ-ն գտավ ելքերը»,- ասաց Լաուրինաս Կաշչյունասը»:
