Մայրաքաղաքում տրվել է Բաբաջանյան-Աշտարակի խճուղի նոր ճանապարհահատվածի կառուցման աշխատանքների մեկնարկը

Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը մասնակցել է Բաբաջանյան-Աշտարակի խճուղի ճանապարհահատվածի շինարարական աշխատանքների մեկնարկի արարողությանը: Ասիական զարգացման բանկի ֆինանսավորմամբ Քաղաքային կայուն զարգացման ծրագրի Տրանշ 2-ի շրջանակում կառուցվող անընդհատ երթևեկությամբ նոր ճանապարհի այս հատվածը կունենա 9,4 կմ երկարություն, 6 երթևեկելի գոտի՝ միջինը 24 մ լայնությամբ: 

Տեղում, նախագծի վրա քաղաքապետին ներկայացնելով ծրագրի մանրամասները, պատասխանատուները զեկուցել են, որ ճանապարհը կունենա 3 ուղեանց՝ Օհանով, Տիչինա փողոցներում, ևս մեկն էլ` Չաուշ-Նոր Սիլիկյան փողոցների խաչմերուկում: Ճանապարհի երկայնքով կկառուցվեն նաև 3 անցումներ՝ երկրորդային փողոցների համար, նաև տրանսպորտային մեկ հանգույց՝ նոր կառուցվող ճանապարհի և Նոր Սիլիկյան փողոցի հատման վայրում: Շինարարական աշխատանքների ընթացքում երթևեկելի գոտուց ամբողջությամբ կտեղափոխվեն բոլոր անհրաժեշտ հաղորդուղիները, իսկ ճանապարհի արտաքին լուսավորությունը կապահովվի լուսադիոդային (LED) լուսատուներով:
Նշվել է նաև, որ կառուցվող նոր ճանապարհը լինելու է միջազգային չափորոշիչներին համապատասխան՝ հագեցած նոր ենթակառուցվածքներով: 
Ճանապարհի հիմնարկեքի արարողության ժամանակ Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն իտալական «Տիրենա Սքավի» ընկերության լիազոր ներկայացուցիչ Ջիաքոմո Լոմբարդիի հետ ստորագրել են նոր ճանապարհի կառուցումն ազդարարող երկկողմ հուշագիր, որը տեղադրվել է նոր կառուցվող ճանապարհի հիմքում:
Ընդգծելով մայրաքաղաքում վերջին տարիներին իրականացվող ճանապարհաշինական խոշոր ծրագրերի իրագործման կարևորությունը՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նկատել է, որ այդ ծրագրերը լինելու են շարունակական: 
«Մայրաքաղաքի կենտրոնի և գլխավոր փողոցների ավտոտրանսպորտային հոսքերի բեռնաթափումը մեզ համար կարևոր առաջնահերթություն է, և այդ ուղղությամբ մի շարք նպատակային ծրագրեր ենք իրականացնում: Այս համատեքստում Ասիական զարգացման բանկի հետ համատեղ մշակեցինք և փուլ առ փուլ կյանքի ենք կոչում Երևանի արևմտյան շրջանցիկ ճանապարհի կառուցման ծրագիրը: Այսօր տվեցինք այդ ճանապարհի ամենաերկար և կարևոր հատվածներից մեկի՝ Բաբաջանյան փողոց-Աշտարակի խճուղի ճանապարհահատվածի շինարարական աշխատանքների մեկնարկը, որն Աջափնյակ վարչական շրջանը կապելու է Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանին: Ուզում եմ ուրախությամբ նշել, որ երկու տարի անց մեր համաքաղաքացիներին կհանձնենք որակապես միանգամայն նոր ու հարմարավետ ճանապարհ: Եվ արդեն 2020 թվականի սկզբին կունենանք մայրաքաղաքի կենտրոնը շրջանցող, շուրջ 23 կմ երկարությամբ միջազգային չափորոշիչներին համապատասխան ճանապարհ, որը իրար կկապի Երևանի հյուսիսային և հարավային մուտքերը՝ տրանսպորտային հոսքերից զգալիորեն բեռնաթափելով քաղաքի կենտրոնն ու գլխավոր փողոցները», - ընդգծել է Երևանի քաղաքապետը: 
Ճանապարհաշինության բնագավառում ավելի քան 44 տարվա փորձառություն ունեցող «Տիրենա Սքավի» ընկերության լիազոր ներկայացուցիչ Ջիաքոմո Լոմբարդին էլ իր հերթին նշել է, որ սա Երևանում իրենց առաջին ծրագիրն է, ինչի համար ուրախ են և վստահ, որ վերջնարդյունքը կգոհացնի քաղաքային իշխանությանն ու մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչներին: Ջիաքոմո Լոմբարդին ընդգծել է նաև, որ կառուցվելիք ճանապարհը լինելու է լավագույնը:
