Սան Պաուլոյի համալսարանի նորընտիր ռեկտոր Վահան Հակոբյանն անցել է պարտականությունների կատարմանը

Սան Պաուլոյի նահանգապետի նստավայրում (Բանդեյրանչիս պալատում) հունվարի 29–ին տեղի ունեցավ Սան Պաուլոյի համալսարանի նորընտիր ռեկտոր, դոկտոր–պրոֆեսոր, հայազգի Վահան Հակոբյանի պաշտոնի ստանձման հանդիսավոր արարողությունը:

Ներկաների թվում էին Բրազիլիայի և Սան Պաուլո նահանգի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ, երկրի մտավորականության ընտրանին, ԶԼՄ–ներ, համալսարանի դասախոսներ և ուսանողներ: ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Գալոյանի առաջնորդությամբ միջոցառմանը մասնակցեցին նաև հայկական համայնքային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչները:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, Բրազիլիայի խոշորագույն համայնքի ղեկավար, նահանգապետ Ժերալդու Ալքմինը արարողության ժամանակ իր ելույթում վստահություն հայտնեց, որ համալսարանն ի դեմս իր նոր ղեկավար կազմի շարունակելու է նոր հաղթանակներ գրանցել հանուն Սան Պաուլոյի և Բրազիլիայի:

Ստանձնելով իր բարձր և պատասխանատու պաշտոնը` պրոֆեսոր Հակոբյանը առանձնակի ընդգծեց իր հայկական ծագումը և ողջույնի խոսքեր ուղղեց ՀՀ դեսպանին և հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներին:

Հատկանշական է, որ համալսարանի Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետում գործում է նաև Հայագիտության ամբիոնը:

Վահան Հակոբյանը ծնվել է 1951 թվականին Ստամբուլում: 1974 թվականին ավարտել է Սան Պաուլոյի համալսարանի պոլիտեխնիկական դպրոցը, իսկ 1978 թ. նույն դպրոցի քաղաքաշինության ֆակուլտետը: 1982 թվականին թեկնածուական ատենախոսությունը պաշտպանել է Լոնդոնի Քինգս քոլեջ համալսարանում: 1975 թվականից ի վեր պրոֆեսոր Հակոբյանի գիտամանկավարժական գործունեությունը ընթացել է Սան Պաուլոյի համալսարանում: Աշխատանքային գործունեության ընթացքում զբաղեցրել է բազմաթիվ պաշտոններ` հանդիսացել է Պոլիտեխնիկական դպրոցի տնօրենի տեղակալը, Սան Պաուլո նահանգի տեխնոլոգիական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտի տնօրենը, Սան Պաուլո նահանգի գիտության և տեխնոլոգիաների քարտուղարության համակարգողը, շինարարության ոլորտում հետազոտությունների միջազգային խորհրդի նախագահ և այլն: 2010–2014 թթ. համապատասխանաբար զբաղեցրել է համալսարանի պրոռեկտորի պաշտոնը: Համալսարանի կանոնադրության համաձայն Վահան Հակոբյանը պաշտոնավարելու է մինչև 2022 թվականը:

Սան Պաուլոյի համալսարանը հիմնադրվել է 1934 թվականին և հանդիսանում է ոչ միայն Բրազիլիայի ամենահեղինակավոր համալսարանը, այլև մեծ հեղինակություն է վայելում ամբողջ տարածաշրջանում: Անցած 84 տարիների ընթացքում գիտության և կրթության ոլորտներում համալսարանը գրանցել է բազմաթիվ հաջողություններ և ձեռքբերումներ:

Հիմնադրման առաջին իսկ օրերից համալսարանը հանդիսացել է երկրի մտավոր ընտրանու ձևավորողը և կառավարող էլիտայի դարբնոցը: Համալսարանին է պատկանում երկրի ընդհանուր գիտատեխնիկական արդյունքի 22%–ը, ասպիրանտների` 13,2%–ը, գիտությունների դոկտորների` 15,5%–ը, ինչպես նաև մագիստրոսների 7,6%–ը: Համալսարանը ստորագրել է 1600 արձանագրություն և պայմանագիր իր ազգային և միջազգային գործընկերների հետ:
