«Ասում են, թե որքան նախագահի թեկնածուի թիմը ջանում է լռեցնել Արմեն Սարգսյան-Վազգեն Սարգսյան «միջադեպի» մասին վերհուշը, այնքան իշխանական կուլիսներում «զոռ են տալիս» իրենց հիշողությանը` վերհիշելու կատարվածի մանրամասները:
Նախկին բարձրաստիճան մի պաշտոնյա էլ մեզ հետ զրույցում հետեւյալն ասաց. «Ծեծկռտուք-բան չի եղել, լուրջ վիճաբանություն է եղել, չասեմ` ինչ հարցի շուրջ, սակայն Վազգենն Արմենին ասել է` «էս բանն» արա, Արմենն ասել է` չեմ կարող, Լևոնը համաձայն չէ:
Վազգենը գնացել է Լևոնի մոտ, Լևոնը նրան ասել է` նման բան չկա, համաձայն եմ, իզուր է Արմենը ինձ վկայակոչում: Դե, Լևոնին հատուկ էին նման բաները: Դրանից հետո էլ եղել է թունդ վեճը, ինչը, սակայն, չէր կարող պատճառ լինել Արմենի հեռացման»:
