Հոլանդիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Հալբե Զեյլստրան խոստովանել է, որ ինքը հրապարակավ ստել է՝ ասելով, թե հանդիպել է ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ:
Իր այս հայտարարությունից հետո նա հրաժարականի դիմում է գրել: Այս մասին գրում է Telegraaf-ը:
«Ես սխալ քայլ եմ կատարել: Ես դա չպիտի անեի: Այլ տարբերակ չեմ տեսնում, քան հրաժարական տալը»,- ինչպես հայտնում է past.am-ը, ասել է նախարարը:
Բանն այն է, որ թերթին տված հարցազրույցում Զեյլստրան խոստովանել է, որ 2006 թվականին Պուտինի ամառանոցում ինքը չի եղել, բայց բազմիցս սուտ հայտարարել է այդ մասին: Նա հայտարարել էր, թե Պուտինը հանդիպման ժամանակ ասել է, թե Բելառուսը, Ուկրաինան, Մերձբալթիկան և Ղազախստանը համարում է «Մեծ Ռուսիայի» մասնիկներ:
