Մեծ Բրիտանիան պատժամիջոցների քաղաքականության հարցերում Եվրամիության կարեւոր գործընկերը կմնա նաեւ այն բանից հետո, երբ երկիրը դուրս կգա ԵՄ-ի կազմից: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է past.am-ը, հայտարարել Է Միացյալ Թագավորության ԱԳ նախարարության ղեկավար Բորիս Ջոնսոնը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Brexit-ին նվիրված ծրագրային ճառով:

«Մեզ համար իմաստ ունի շարունակել ամենասերտ կերպով ներգրավված մնալ ԵՄ-ի արտաքին եւ պաշտպանական քաղաքականության հարցերում, եւ տրամաբանական չԷր լինի այնպիսի հարցեր միասին չքննարկելը, ինչպիսիք են պատժամիջոցները, հիշելով այն մասին, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի փորձագիտական գնահատականն ընկած Է ԵՄ-ի պատժամիջոցների ցուցակների ավելի քան կեսի հիմքում»,-ասել Է նա:

«Եվրոպան պաշտպանելու մեր հանձնառությունը անվերապահ Է ու անփոփոխ»,-նաեւ հավաստիացրել Է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ԱԳ նախարարը: ԵՄ-ի կազմից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու պայմանների շուրջ Լոնդոնի եւ Բրյուսելի միջեւ բանակցությունները Բելգիայի մայրաքաղաքում սկսվել են հունիսի 19-ին, այն բանից գրեթե մեկ տարի անց, երբ Միացյալ Թագավորությունում այս հարցի շուրջ անցկացված հանրաքվեում 51,9 տոկոս արդյունքով հաղթանակ տարան եվրաինտեգրացման հակառակորդները:

Երկխոսությունը պետք Է շարունակվի մինչեւ 2018 թվականի նոյեմբեր, ինչից հետո կողմերը կես տարի կունենան ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածություններն ազգային խորհրդարաններում վավերացնելու համար: Բուն Brexit-ը պետք Է իրագործվի 2019 թվականի մարտի 29-ին, ինչից հետո կսկսվի անցումային շրջանը, որը կետեւի մինչեւ 2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 31-ը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
