«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Որոշված է՝ մարտի 27-ին մեկնարկելիք ԱԺ նիստում Հրայր Թովմասյանը կընտրվի ՍԴ անդամ, համամասնական ցուցակով (գրել ենք) պատգամավորի նրա տեղը կզբաղեցնի Տաճատ Վարդապետյանը, իսկ պետաիրավական հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նախագահի պաշտոնը՝ Գեւորգ Կոստանյանը։ Դո՞ւք եք նա, որի կոշիկների քուղերն այսուհետ պետք է կապվեն պետաիրավական հանձնաժողովում, որն ապրիլի 9-ից հետո ունենալու է նոր, հզոր ֆունկցիա՝ վերահսկելու է օրենքների կատարումն ալամ Հայաստանում՝ հարցրինք նախկին գլխավոր դատախազին։

«Ձեզանից եմ առաջին անգամ լսում»։ Պարոն Կոստանյան, Դուք «մեզանից առաջին անգամ» լսեցիք, որ դատախազ եք դառնում, ապա «լսեցիք», որ նախագահի խորհրդական եք դառնում, ասացիք՝ չկա նման բան, բայց «հինգ րոպե անց» դարձաք խորհրդական։ «Ամենայնորեն անկեղծ ու ազնիվ եմ ասում՝ ձեր զանգից մեկ ժամ անց ինձ զանգեցին ու ասացին, որ, իսկապես, նման բան կա»։ Էդ դեպքում մի «նորություն» էլ հայտնեմ․ պետաիրավական հանձնաժողովը նախագահելուց վեց ամիս անց Դուք ԲԴԽ-ի՝ Բարձրագույն դատական խորհրդի առաջարկով ընտրվելու եք վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահ։

«Բա դե տեսնում եք․ դասական պատում՝ գնացի մարդի, ունեցա որդի։ Նախ կցանկանայի իմանայիք, որ ես հիմա էլ վատ պաշտոնների չեմ՝ ԱԺ պատգամավոր եմ, ՄԻԵԴ-ում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ, որը համաժամանակյա զբաղվում է գիտական աշխատանքով»։ Դե, ես էլ հենց էդ եմ ասում՝ վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահ կարող են դառնալ վճռաբեկի դատավորները եւ դոկտորական կոչում ունեցող գիտնականները։ Հիշեցնենք, որ դոկտորի կոչումը Կոստանյանը վերջերս է ստացել»:
